I think that was more serious because Akki was actually a much notorious philander than Ranbir.

Actually he still is, if the rumors of him hooking up with every lady he does movies is true.

start with pooja batra...and the funniest part is he was going to marry each one of them...everything was finalized, and he would cheat on them with the next one...somehow he married twinkle...god knows how...

Same with Salman. He confessed himself , even wedding cards were printed and he cheated Sangeeta with Somi Ali. Then left Somi Ali and went for Aishwarya. If Aishwarya had not left him, what was the guarantee that he would not have cheated her?

In Raveena's case the tragedy was, she had left her career when she was at the peak as Akshay wanted a housewife. (Rekha's was not the issue. Raveena herself has said, Akshay was only tolerating her). But affair with Shilpa and others were real.

Luckily current actresses do not leave their careers. Katrina came back with TZH after break up. Deepika in fact became bigger after breakup.
