She was basically whispering in front of Ishaan's mom. People keep talking about Mauli becoming a doormat. This is how one becomes one. Not being able to stand up for herself, her wants and wishes. Trying so hard to please another person, forgetting who she really is. No good relationship can start with such demands.

Chalo at least this made it even more clear. If Mauli can have only one sasural, then it is definitely not going to be Ishaan's side of the family. Mauli+Radhika/Dida is endgame. So whether Mauli reunites with Kunal or not, she is definitely not leaving those two women.

These writers are so terrible at writing. They can only write for one character at a time. Right now Mauli will be sacrificed for Kunal. One action at a time. They are going to build so much misunderstanding from her side that when the revelations start happening guilt flood will drown Mauli. First his mahanta by calling Mehek to help her move on. Now their daughter tortured his pari and instead of him yelling at her, she yelled at him.

mauli has taken a stand for herself. its just that she has chosen a polite way to make sandhya understand. although sandhya demands are rubbish but not her concerns.. although her tone is rude but she is not an evil person..

sandhya is not as modern as mauli's family.. and it is right that she will have to answer "samaaj" why they chose mauli. and mauli's cordial relationship with kunal is something which is actually weird for a major part of pur society..

mauli wants sandhya to give her a chance as mauli really cares about her relationship with ishaan.. as mauli said ishaan and she and mishti are a family.. why would she want to break a relationship by giving reply to sandhya in sandhya's tone.. why not win her by love?? nd why not prove that sandhya's thinking is wrong.. she jas just met sandhya.. for first meeting her behaviour was right..

and we are forgetting that mauli doesnt love ishaan romantically. she loves him as a friend and family.. so she has guilt of not giving him that love what he deserves thats a big reason why mauli was silent..

how can we expect that she raises her voice for ishaan and her relationship when she herself is guilt ridden for not loving him that way..

So glad Mauli didn't give into her demands.

It's not just about his mother not being as open minded and "modern". She indirectly talked down about Mauli several times. She accepted Mauli with her "baggage". Ishaan deserved a kunwari ladki. I don't care what changes happen to Ishaan's mom down the road but the day anyone acts like they are doing me a favor by accepting me and my child, I am out. I didn't need Mauli to be hostile and rude. But she didn't stand up for herself. If she is leaving Ishaan it's because she is feeling guilty that she is not good enough for him. I am wary of all saas who talk down to their DILs, especially the ones who are not bad people. Her concern about Kunal is right, but there is more going on here.

i guess u didnt get my point.. i was talking about this only.. her thinking is regressive amd she behaves as if she is doing some ehsaan on mauli which she is clearly not..

but mauli isnt accepting this.. its just she doesnt have the confidence to tell sandhya that sandhya is wrong if she thinks so.. that confidence could have come if she had strong feelings for ishaan. i guess so..

and its their first meeting.. she is calling her maa already.. mauli has let this matter go for the relationship she shares with ishaan. but i hope somebody can tell sandhya that she is wrong..

we cant really blame sandhya for her thinking.. it is not appreciable. it shouldnt be promoted rather she should be told that she is wrong if she thinks that she is doing some ehsaan on mauli. she will realise this only when she learns it on her own by seeing the goodness in mauli. i know u r not concerned about her thinking but mauli.. mauli has some relation with ishaan for which she didnt take a stand for herself to make the matter worse..

its same like mauli asking kunal whether u love me or not but i love u pls come back..

The way Ishan's mom went about a divorcee, baggage, kuwari ladki stuff it was downright demeaning...i understand her concern for her son and she should be concerned as I'm sure that she's able to gauze that Mauli doesn't love Ishan...

Now as per precap Mauli is calling off the wedding which is a great decision imo. . . Infact Mauli should tell Ishan the truth that she's still in love with kunal and she won't be able to love him romantically.. Hell it's been 6 yrs but she still loves kunal/she still pines for him.. ..how on earth would she be able to love someone else...

That's the reality of society. I don't think Ishaan's mom is wrong here. In our society, divorces normally don't happen unless the relationship is completely toxic. In other words, people still think twice before going for divorce unless its something huge.

In such circumstances, no parent would be all gung-ho about their child marrying a divorcee unless they personally know him/her. Oftentimes divorces are messy and the spouses develop trauma, mental block and phobia about certain aspects of relationships.

And its not just about women either; no parents would happily marry off their daughter to a divorcee man with a child.

And it's not as if Ishaan's mom was talking down to Mauli in a normal situation; she said those dialogues when she was super pissed off because of Kunal's presence.

i guess mauli has feeling for kunal but she doesnt want him back. she wants ishaan as a parnter, as the father of her daughter and as her family.

it is clear from her dialogues from today's episode..

she had lost her path in the camp but again she is back .. i dont know till how long she will be able to confuse us 😆 but its not that she doesnt want ishaan..

@pw: I completely understand what you're trying to say but somewhere I believe that she's not over Kunal and I doubt she'll ever be... She couldn't get over him in these past 6 yrs n mind you 6 yrs is a pretty long time..

She's comfortable with Ishan and will she be able to love him... Again I doubt...she couldn't get herself to say "yes" to him for the last 3-4 yrs and only did when she thought Kunal was happy with his wife n kid... That's really not done... Infact she should sit back n give a thorough thought to all this and come to a decision... N she better not again lie to herself for not loving kunal...n she shouldn't be impulsive in taking decisions...Mauli has always been impulsive n that's her biggest demerit... she should also pay attention to Mishti n sort out stuff... That girl is treading in dangerous water..

yes i agree that she should stop if she isnt sure about things. i would not like it if she does all efforts for her marriage and ishaan puts efforts for this marriage and last mein we get a sad ishaan.. so yes she needs to sort out things.

she isnt over kunal, i agree.. but i can actually see that CVs have kept both option open for her. and this is confusing audience...

mishti thing is going to solve by monday.. i guess so.. but i really wanted mauli to look into it as a parent.. as a single parent she needs to look into it.. i hope she gets to kmow what mishti has done to pari
