Could Farc leader's death lead to war?

Ecuador and Venezuela have announced they are sending troops to their borders with Colombia, in response to the killing of a Farc leader in Ecuadorean territory. Will regional tensions escalate further?

Raul Reyes, a senior commander of Colombia's left-wing rebel group Farc, was killed by Colombian forces inside Ecuador on Saturday. Colombia's government has now issued an apology.

Both Ecuador and Venezuela have also withdrawn staff from their embassies in the Colombian capital Bogata.

Farc retains a firm grip over some of Colombia's more remote regions and it still holds many hostages. President Chavez recently secured the release of six hostages into his care.

Ain't that country full of drug pushers. Oooh I'll love to know more about those junkies, too bad this guy had to die for all that information to reach us.😃

How about distributing some addictive video games in that region or may be Sony Playstations. Or even better we can show them all the mushy romantic bollywood movies with all the rona dhona and running around trees till they get saturated with love and cry for mercy.😛 You got any better idea.😉

@ Andro.. can't they just settle their differences like they used to with trading oil , drugs and hostages? 😉
