You have a point that anar has no special qualities for a crown prince to go head over heels for her

But love has no logic in life

Why did Qutub shah see Bhagmati playing near a river and marry her and build hyderbad for her?

Why did jehangir love a 35 year old widow and martry her and make her malika e hindustan?

Why did baz bahadur marry roopmati a villager?

Why a parent loves their ugly child that others find ugly to look at? Or why a parents loves their abusing son although he abuses them?

If we want logic in everything we cannot get - love has no logic thats why love is equated to diviness

Many emperors and kings may have loved maids and dancers and kept them as cocubbines but do society respect cocubbines not really - but Salim wanted his lover whose a dancer and maid to marry him legally and make her Queen - thats why his love is different from other prince/emperors. Because he wanted to make an impossible thing possible and suffered for that.

I agree anarkali is not behaving like a maid with Jodha and salim but when its Akbar, Ruqaiah, Hamida etc shes behaving like a maid only. Thats because she knows Salim ad Jodha will not get angry if she treats them as equal.

Man Bai is not a vamp, shes a spoilt brat child of her parents and elder brother Maan Singh(Maan Singh her brother is just 5-6 years younger than Akbar so hes almost 30 years elder to her, when a child is born after 30 years of first sons irth its a given parents and brothers will bring her up lovingly like Maan hence shes very demanding). Shes acting like a rich spoilt brat of the modern 21st century. Her behaviour is close to a princess of 15th century actually they will be more haughty, egoistic and commanding than Maan Bai in reality.

To survive in big bad mughal harem you require some spunk and bratttish behaviour or how will you survive games of mughal harem that people like Ruqaiah will play? Yet Maan Bai could not take all that politics and committed suicide at yung age of 33 years. Even Jodha(Salims wife) died young at 46. Actually 8 of Salims wifes died young before 35 years so you can imagine how tough mughal harem politics may be that almost 35% of his wives died young.

I am not forcing you at all. Do whatever you want to, I just find it disrespectful towards the show and the lead heroine that's why I said it.

I condemn this ship which gives all the love and positivity to their favorite girl and causes only negativity to the boy, till now he didnt get anything good from this ship but only bashing and negativity
The reason for my frustration is not just this ridiculous poll, there are too many things going on.. the drama they created on twitter and instagram over a simple kiss just a small example of it, they were literally on fire, claiming that the show is vulgar, historical shows shouldnt be like this and the most hilarious one that why they show so much romance instead of political issues 🤣 even if the show's name is "Dastaan-E-Mohabbat", i guess they expected the show to be about Salim and Anarkali solving political problems of Mughal empire
But one thing is for sure all the hullabaloo over a simple kiss was the effect of the sizzling chemistry which they are trying to deny
So let them ship Salim with a psycho if that makes them happy, but the thing that is they forget this show is about Salim-Anarkali, no matter what happens there is only one heroine and only one Jaan-e-Salim

I am not sure if all of this applies to the people over here, but whoever these people are, they are sick, and most tellywood fandoms are like that, and unfortunately shippers are always mean to the male lead and always supportive of the female lead, which is down right hypocrisy, shippers aren't proper fans, they are just bad news! Online tellywood fandom totally sucks that way! And also when did they kiss?? seems like I missed something!
