Even I dontknow what is the problem with this poll..everyone has their own taste..sonarika is good looking is it enough to watch the show there should be some excitement..anar is simply romancing salim nothing else other than looks what is special abt anar character in the show..is this believable the prince fallen in love with the kaneez only for looks..how can people call the actress who play manbai third class..😡we are not talking abt the actor or actress we only talking about the characters..why you people are dragging erica. where did i compared erica with sonarika..myself only talking about the characters

Anarkali is shown as a very good hearted woman who since childhood has been protecting and loving Salim, she has written him letters for all the years he has been away and he is even in love with the natural scent of hers, it is not a very hard concept to grasp, I think after a very long time I have actually understood a love story, otherwise it is the same BS of an over the top female lead annoying the crap out of the audience! What is so attractive about Maan bai? I don't get what's with people's obsession with liking selfish and rude female characters!

Already i have told I am watching this show only for the sake of shaheer bcoz he is an amazing actor he deserves success..first i dont find logic in this show even i cant connect with their love story..i am not complaining the actors all the actors of dem-sa are perfect my issue is with the characters so everyone has their own POV

That's what I am saying everyone has their own POV..I have never mocked your opinion!!not talking bad abt other actors but here few people are mocking my opinion and dragging the actors too..just I am saying let's agree to disagree.

I clicked both pairs as my fav

I selected Salim-anarkali because they both are so similar by nature. Both are good human beings, they can risk their life to save others. Salim basically is ready to take nakras of his lover although shes a kaneez a maid. Salim does not treat anarkali like a lesser being although hes crown prince and she a maid. A prince can love a maid but very few lovers will treat their lover/wife equal to them especially in 15th century. I am sure many royals loved maids/cocubbines but they did not bother to give their love equal status as a princess like Salim wanted for anarkali. Otherwise he could easily make her his cocubbine and keep her with him for life and Akbar or society will have no objection actually. His insistence at marriage and making her Malika e Hindustan is a real issue here rather than his love for a maid. Even akbar, aurganzeb, dara sikoh all loved dancers or maids etc but no one said make her Malika e Hindustan ever in history. Salims thoughts on love and marriage are mode revolutionary 21st century kind. Even today a man from a rich class cannot marry a dancer/maid or tawaif society will not accept that.

I selected Salim and Maan bai because of the real Maan Bai. She truly suffered a lot because of all politics between Akbar and Salim, she never had a happy married life or family life because of all the politics in mughal court. Husband was hardly with her because he was away on war field or in bhagawat and son too was involved in politics and hardly she had any happy married life or family life for no fault of hers.

Here too in future although Maan will love and marry Salim he will never be hers, he will only love anarkali and not give much love or attention to Maan. In someways her anger and rude behaviours and tantrums will be justified because she will just be a pawn in politics for Akbar and Salim too. After all their marriage is more political than love to strengthen ties between Rajputh and Mughals. I have no issues with Maans dominating and rude behaviour. Thats how royals behaved or were taught to behave from childhood. Its not exactly her fault. Indeed Salim and Jodha are behaving not like royalty of those times they are behaving like commoners. Now there is no problem if you are treating others below you as equal etc but not the kind that Jodha and Salim behave. The issue is anarkali and husna/husna and mahabhat may be kind enough to not take advantage but majority will start taking advantage of Jodha or Salims friendly behaviour. That includes family like Murad and Daniyal too. We have all seen how an innocent Salim as a kid was abused by Murad and daniyal and even Ruqaiah. So its best royals in high positions ensure that they are not seeing as behaving very soft and innocent because majority will abuse their goodness.

Basically Anarkali and Maan bai are pawns in political game. Anar is sacrificing type and Maan Bai is the demanding type

I really dont understand what is disrespectful to the show..they are gonna introduce love triangle in the show then there should be two pairs..is it necessary everyone should like the lead pair only..you people can stick to our opinion but dont mock others too
