Akbar puts crown on her head, anar thinks he accepted her as daughter in law. Akbar says she is rakassa and will entertain many men from today. Anar shocked, jillan comes and says to forgive anar. Akbar says he is gifting anar not punishing. Akbar announces on salim-maan bai wedding she will dance. Anar leaves and sitting in her room thinking salim will come and do correct. The khwaja sera and ladies come and take anar. Khanam sees and finds why?

DEM Epi56

Salim leaves for war. Man singh goes to meet his sister, Maan cries. Man Singh says do not cry if Salim betrays you or Akbar goes back on promise agra will face consequence, i am rajputh and for us our respect comes first above anything. Maan goes to anar and starts decorating her saying i am preparing you for first night after marraige to salim after all you are my husbands first wife. She says she informed akbar about them going for marriage to akbar. Anar gets sacred. Next day anar comes to court and akbar says you are most brave human, big warriors get scared to do what you have done. You have given back great loyalty for what we did to you. Thats why i want to gift you a crown and maan and man singh both gets shocked and angry. Soldiers come inside. Anar says thanks for the gift that great mughal emperor gave me.

Maan goes and says you promise my dad i will be malika e hindustan but see Salim is going to marry a maid. Akbar asks which maid? She says anarkali. Akbar says you are mistaen she is just childhood friend. Maan says he left to marry already. Akbar says do not cry, you are Malika e hindustan and always will be, do you trust me? Maan nods her head. Akbar gets angry and kills ministers with him because they heard his and maan convo. Maan singh comes with nur muhammad and kills him in front of Akbar. Akbar does tilak with blood and says welcome malika e hindustans brother. Maan says news in not good Akbar gets upset. He says now world will see Akbar e azams anger. Salim and anarkali go to nikaah place. Hasan gets qazi and on way Akbars man brushes his arms with poisoned knife. Salim anar dreaming of marraige over scene. Qazi starts marraige but falls dead after sometime. Husna says Qazi died not good indication lets go back to palace. Hassan says yes lets come back other day Salim says no marraige will happen now. Soldier comes and says Akbar coming with full army here. Salim says good now marraige will happen in front of my father. Anarkali says you had promised to keep wedding secret.If this marraige comes out in open blood will flow like river. For one love you want to break all relationships. Salim says if relationship becomes prison let it break. Salim says i kept love secret big mistaker now i will not keep wedding secret anyway akbar coming means he knows about our love.

Akbar comes and says fight me and attack me. Akbar says my sword has forgotten own and outsider difdference you too forget today and attack me.Salim says if you wish fine. I never thought my own blood betray me and first war was on my splendor and self respect but today i will attack next. Akbar says my self respect and Salim says you will fight your own blood. Akbar says in front of country this heart and relationship does not matter. Akbar says when outsiders betray your faith goes off in people but when own family betrays your heart breaks. Salim says you are thinking ego breaking is heart break. Akbar says heart is good in poets word not prince. Salim says there is nothing bigger than heart. Akbar says country and is biggest above father son or brother. Salim says brother Akbar says Hakim mirza has betrayed me and coming to agra to attack so i am going to war and came to make you emperor as no gaurantee i will return. Salim says no i will go and get his head you stay and leaves.

Salim gets to know what maan did to anar. He goes and fights with maan and raises hands on her. Maan gets very angry and asks whoose anar for him he says i am marrying her etc. Ruqaiah comes and tells maan that salim is marrying and to inform akbar. Maan informs akbar.

DEM Epi53

Maan bai falls anar catches and mehendi comes on her hand. Anar goes to wash, maan goes and rubs the hand with knife. Anar says thanks for making Salims name permanent on my hand happy mehendi to both of us. Salim comes and sees burnt anar photo and asks who did to gaurds and maids. Ruqaiah says i will tell come and takes to her room and says its me, kill me. Salim says you why? Ruqaiah says akbar was coming to your room hence. Salim says its ok, do not cry you sit. I am planning to make anar my first wife. Ruqaiah says when where? salim says after marraige i will come to you first. Maan going and khanam says you look so good etc and maan gets angry and slaps him hits with her shoe and orders to keep on his head. Ruqaiah comes and sees and wants to stop but to pls maan bai keeps other shoe also on his head.

DEM52

Maan goes with sword and gives anar gold and says leave salim and agra and go. Anar refuses to take so Maan says will give more. Maan taking sword and going to Salim roo, Ruqaiah stops maan angry and tries to slap ruqaiah, ruqaiah pacifies her. Anar searches salim hes not there in palace, she goes to mahabhat and says where is salim take care of him. Maahbahta says why you breaking his heart, hes gone upset will take time to come back. Anar says than love salim becoming emperor more important for her and india. Maan mehendi starts and Maan and ruqaiah humilaite anar. The maid puts oil and anar about to dfall but jodha catches her, maan says dance on my wedding and gives ghungroo. Salim is coming back from somewhere on horse.

DEM Epi51

Ruqaiah takes Maan and shows her anar pic and asks what will you do? Maan throws things in room and burns her pic and cuts her wrist. Ruqaiah and Khanam hide and take her to their room for treatment. Salim takes anar to dargah to make nikaah but Qazi sahab says today is not right day to marray, its after 4 days. Maan bai gets concious and Ruqaiah gives her cocaine drugs to eat and Maan gets unconcious again. Ruqaiah says she got katputli to play with in form of Maan and she will control Salim thru Maan. Maan wakes in her room and gets angry on Salim seeing anar pic in her mirror and breaks it.

DEM Epi50

Anar promise Salim to marry him if he agrees to marry Maan Bai in court. Akbar announces in court and salim agrees to marry Maan and roka happens. salim gets up and goes Khanam and Ruqaiah follow. Ruqaiah asks salim why he agreed to marry Salim does not say. Jodha thanks anar for convincing Salim. Salim goes to anar, on way Maan Bai goes to him and hugs hi he pushes her off. She says come lets sit and talk lets decide our future life he says you will be wife not wife and goes. Ruqaiah and Khanam make fun of maan bai bec salim left her alone. Maan Bai slaps Khanam for saying salim has no happiness nor loves her. Salim goes to anar room and says come lets go(to marry), anar says what urgent you just had roka he says come now and leaves with her.

Salim kaes anar pic and maan bai comes and wants to see salim stops and she leaves. Jodha calls anar and says leave salim otherwise hindustan will be destroyed amer will declare war on mughal empire and country will break. Anar promises to convince salim to marry maan. Salim calls and shows her pic.

DEM Epi48

Akbar announces Maan-Salim marriage in court. Salim says cannot marry as i love someone. Akbar says whom, Salim says anarkali. Akbar says its bahagwat both fight and kill each other. Jodha gets up from dream. Akbar asks Bahgwan das for marraige of Maan with Salim and promises this marraigae will not break later. Maan bai fights with gaurd for not allowing her inside Salim room, she barges into his room angrily. Salim makes her sit on sofa and says after gift also you angry. Maan says all your maids and gaurds are rude. Salim says everyone has learned anger from you forget that hows my gift. She says best gift i got thanks now lets go in boat to yamuna and pulls him. Salim says not now. She says its maan bai orders now only and pulls him he says you go alone i have work. She is shocked and says come no to yamuna ride he says i am busy angrily. Maa Bai goes and tries to cut her wrist he runs and stops. She says why you stopped he says because i care. She says promise you will take care of me all life he promises. Anar goes to Maan bai room all saying Salim marraige fixed anar happy. Maan bai says put kamarband, anar shocked to see that and she says Salim gifted. Anar ties kamarband and shoe and then leaves. She searches fr gift in her room, jillan says forget love it was dream. she says no way i am going to be Salim wife not anyone i will speak to him everything will be okk.

DEM Epi47

Its night and Salim takes anar to the DEK and makes her sit on Malika e Hindustan throne. Akbar goes to Salim room and finds hes not there, Khanam tells Akbar hes in DEK. Akbar goes towards DEK and Khanam runs and says to Ruqaiah today Salim is caught. Ruqaiah slaps him and runs to stop Akbar. Jodha going towards DEK and hears Salim laughter and goes there. Ruqaiah stops Akbar and acts asif shes unwell and Akbar takes her to her room. Anar says you must rule the world, Salim says i am soldier i will do war and protect empire you rule. Jodha sees Salim putting crown on anarkali and standing behind her in DEK.

In a way akbar was correct to not allow salim to marry nur jahan and even anarkali may be if she existed to marry salim

Because he knows they will dominate his son in decision making both in court and family and chaos in patriachial mughal court

Shah jahan cleverly avoided allowing mumtaz any advicing position in court although in four walls of palace she must be advicing him. Anyways she died within 2-3 years of him becoming emperor otherwise another controversy would have started like nur jahan time the Junta of Mumtaz

Mumtaz was so dominating she did not allow after her marriage any other wives of shah jahan to have kids from his other wives even new wives who married after her. She even carried out miscarriages so that Shah jahan only has kids from her. Above that she relegated Shah jahan three elder daughters before jahanara from other wives to disappear from annals of memory and history. Actually Shah jahan eldest daughter was born to Jodhpur princess so she must have been made Padshah begum after Mumtaz not jahanara. Mumtaz was no less than Nur jahan in her family and political games. Both these ladies ensured destruction of the mughal empire by their decisions of divide and rule and infightings in family by favouring lesser capable and younger prince/princess over their elder siblings to strengthen their power. The irony was Mumtaz never allowed Shah jahan to have kids from other wives especially sons(and killed them thru abortions) saying that they will fight for throne if they are step sblings. And her own 5 sons had the most brutal war of succession and Aurangzeb killed all his brothers and even majority of their sons. Thats called poetic justice of fate!!!!
