Even though it's because of Malhar's flashback of him and Sampada he at least realises Kalyani being his wife he needs to treat her better with more respect. Malhar is a nice guy good at heart it's just that he has been through so much so he is venting all of his anger and frustration out with his rude behaviour. He promised to torture Kalyani and make her life hell but knowing how good hearted he is and circumstances have made him such I knew he wouldn't be able to carry on for too long. The day he comes to love her he will give her the love, respect and happiness she deserves as a wife.
