one thing I don't understand is if all cast are leaving then why is nakuul prepared to do leap when he knows what Gul is like.

There are many reasons which we can speculate as to why NM choose to stay back !

- Firstly none of the cast were given a choice to stay back after leap. It was only NM who was given an option to continue after leap not as Shivaay but as Shivika son Shivaansh.

- Secondly there are not many shows in ITV which are male lead centric. and after leap too this show will be centered around Shivaansh Singh Oberoi...

- Thirdly NM is very clear as to he wont be playing boyfriend/husband to makki, naagins and other super natural elements...😆 Also he was clear that he there is no character currently on ITV that he is wnating to do except SSO and IB.

- What ever pathetic writing was there in Redux, NM got to show his acting prowess in redux and he has received many accolades from fans and fraternity ! Not many MLs get to do such things in ITV shows...

- If not he, some other actor will be playing SSO after leap. So I think he is right in his place to choose to play it and he might have found some thing interesting in the new character(atleast on paper) to be able to continue in new role..

- With NM-SC setting such high bar with respect to Shivika, what ever new show he takes up, there will always be a comparison.

Dont know whats in store but will remind myself to watch ! I really hope Shivaansh doesnt have each and every characteristic of Shivaay ! hoping the suit and the gelled hair isnt the theme from day # 1
