I thought the show was going to get better after the leap. Instead it's even more messy. Today I watched the first few episodes of the show. Don't even feel it's the same show anymore. The depth and chemistry in the initial storyline is so completely lost. It is a Complete mess and the leap doesn't make it any better. I really don't see what they are trying to show. A custody battle ?? Seriously ? Kunal fighting for the custody of a child he didn't want ? Why ? Why make the charavters worse ?
The makers should have just closed down silsila instead of this drama . If they really believe that KuNan is indeed true love then they could have just shown them living happily post leap and continued with Maui's journey of finding love again. Or at least finished with the first episode post leap. Mauli ishty ishaan and Kunal bringing up Pari as a single parent. I mean everyone is happy here. Then why this drama of them crossing paths again ? Mishti has a happy childhood pampered by her family. She has a father in Ishaan and I think Mauli would have married him in due time anyway. They already are a happy family . kunal too has had a happy life with Nandini and is a doting father to their daughter. Pari is getting the love and care she needs from Kunal. Yes she doesn't have a mother but there are many kids brought up by a single parent and Kunal is an extremely good father. If the drama is gonna end with MauNal reuniting then it will be unfair to Ishaan and an insult to Kunal's love for both Nandini and Maili. Also I don't think Mauli or Kunal will ever be able to get over the past. That would be the worst kind of end. And if they are not to reunite this whole drama is useless except for that Mishti and Pari will also be dragged into this mess of relationships.
