When people are selfish and bad they never see the good in people. Mauli is such a good decent woman yet Kunal and nandini could not see it. Even though Kunal was married to Mauli for 7 years and nandini knew Mauli from childhood, even though they saw all the good things she did for both and their families they So readily accepted that she is lying about the baby. She never understood Mauli or appreciated her or deserved her . That's why nandini can die but Mauli must never take Kunal back . She deserves so much better. They can never compare Kunal to SRKs character rahul in KKHH. Rahul was a good decent man, he never cheated anyone , he loved his wife until way past her death, and then fell in love with his best friend who had always loved him. He deserved happiness that he got in the end, Kunal doesn't deserve for Mauli to take him back.
