Don't bother about these trps. Jenshad are popular & the show is doing extremely well on SM. Infact, do the Bhagyas leads have the kind of popularity like Jenshad despite being top on the charts? Like they are not even spoke about forget about recognition. It's not like the movie industry were u have to deliver a hit n then u get ur next project. In telly world, trps don't matter much. For instance take a Beyhadh & brahmarakshas, brahmarakshas was a top show in terms of trps n offcourse had more trps than the former. But no one gives a f**k about the show. Heck no one even remembers the lead characters name. While Behyadh & Maya have attained an iconic position.

Totally agree with you about brand recognition. However it does not apply in every actor's career. Sahir is an icon like Maya. People still talk fondly about this character even though Humsafars fared badly and lasted only 5 months on Sony. So iconic characters and trps both matter. Like Harshad said, an actor is only as good as his last successful show.

Agreed! But only a trp topper will not get u that brand value or good will, but talent does. Like for instance Kundali leads have a trp show, but they are not highly paid like Jen nor do they have brand endorsements nor the fan following. There are so many factors that decides someones popularity not just a lame trp topper show. And which was more iconic Praghya or Maya? 😆

All those K serials which ekta produced since 2000 raked in money, were immensely popular and their characters were as iconic as their shows.

Harshad will be looked as Prem Juneja. Bp cannot replace kis des, it gave both Harshad and Aditi careers.

Shair Azeem Choudhary became famous after Humsafars shut down. This show didnt have the aura or fan following that Behyadh had. Even Kuch rang pyaar ke has massive online ollowing. Erica and Shaheer have got good shows ( the latter is a huge hit in Indonesia)

Harshad maybe a fantastic actor but inorder to get more shows his current one has to get trps roo. That goes for all established actors who have massive hits in the past. Sony never ever promoted Humsafars but colors has done a lot for BP and harshad has been appreciated for his work which can get him more work but BP has to float atleast till feb or March.

There are new shows like kcl, isa and kulfi, or even a one year plus serials like kundali bhagya or immjw are doing very well. The trp audience have given a thumbs up but it hasnt worked for BP.

So it has to mix of talent and good numbers.

This time colors week day shows even bb have been hit very badly.

the trps are expected no interest in a show which wastes such a talent like jenny and focuses so much on making the male lead look good.
