I think most of the bashing is due to the fact that people can tell the relationship is fake.

My feeling on it is that there too many people involve just for PR. Like I can't imagine RK and Alia using their Mothers (and other family members) for something to be totally fake.

Are you talking about the Vogue photo shoot? That was Kapoor & Sons promotions. They did talk about their "closeness and all that in that interview but nothing to this extent, not even close.

As for why their mothers are involved? Well in my opinion this Alia thing has been really good for RK's image. I've said this before, he went through the whole Sunju promotions without a single person asking him about Mahira and those controversial pictures. Neetu kind of owes Alia here. Another possibility she's doing it to save her own butt 😆. This time when they "break up no one will blame her for causing it like they did with Deepika and Katrina.

Off topic but why does everyone think KJo set up Abhi and Ash? They started dating on the sets of Umrao Jaan which had nothing to do with KJo. It wasn't even in Mumbai. Abhishek said once that his father was hospitalized for some intestinal issues and it was serious and Ash was his sounding board at the time. That's how they moved from friendship to more.

I find their chemistry thanda to be frank
