I really like Sid. He comes across as a nice guy, calm and centered. And he is gorgeous. He sorta reminds me of DP early on in her career. He needs better guidance in choosing roles. Despite his looks, it's the understated roles like K&S and Hasee... that suit him more. Stop going for "massy" films.

I think the perception of talent sometimes can be very reputation based, for lack of a better word. Sid got called a wooden plank in one EV review and that has stuck for some people and they can't let go. He got great reviews for itefaaq and the movie itself was critically acclaimed. But it had zero promotions so it didn't get the right kind of attention. Even for Aiyaari and AG he got praise but when a movie flops none of that matters short term. Long term depends on how his future movies do.
