Mirror has learnt that Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are set to make their first ever joint appearance in the show's first episode.
A source associated with the show confirmed the news, "The episode will be shot next week and will see the actresses discuss girl power, the changing role of women in films today and their real-life friendship, among other things.
This is the first time that two actresses have been roped in to open the chat show, which has traditionally had Shah Rukh Khan as its first guest. Salman Khan made his debut on it with the premiere of season four. Alia had featured in the first episode last year with SRK, her Dear Zindagi co-star.

The two actresses bumped into each other on Wednesday at a dinner party hosted by Alia's beau, Ranbir Kapoor, at his Bandra residence. Among the guests were also Deepika's fianc, Ranveer Singh, along with KJo and SRK. The surprise guest was Aamir Khan and all of them happily posed together. The party continued till the early hours of Thursday.
MM also says that Arjun Kapoor and Janvhi Kapoor is also confirmed.
