So, this isn't really related to the story as such but I noticed zoya's wet mehendi color was very different from what I know of mehendi. Here we get mehendi cones at the Indian stores and the mehendi that comes out of that is black/dark chocolate types in color.. Is this golden/yellow paste something new????

Oh really!!! No wonder! I thought this was some new thing!! But even on TV they typically show the color to be dark brown even if it's fake no?

I have seen the light green mehendi before here in the States, but it doesn't stain as well. I think it's made from dried up/bad leaves. Unclear why they would use such kharaab quality mehendi for the show :/

Oh it's the first time I'm seeing this!! But yeah they could''ve used a fake brown paste that won't stain! Heck even dark brown Play-Doh that my daughter adores would have looked good :)

Yeah! That light green mehendi is usually a last resort for us 😆
I agree, Play Doh would've looked better 😆

I thought most shows shoot with real mehendi, no? 😕

not sure if they use real mehendi in other shows or not (considering perhaps the actors choice?)..but they use 'realistic' mehendi at the very least :)..

in fact I didn't think it was fake in BP until @manny pointed it out..coz why fake it with a wrong color? ..so I just assumed it was some new innovation in Mehendi that was out in India :)
