Pls can someone elaborate a Muslim wedding - rituals etc?

The thing is, BP has never been good with portraying the religion on Islam. All that is being shown..Engagement, Mehandi, Sangeet doesn't depict Islam, so I really dont bother with it.

My suggestion is, put the fact that there are muslim characters in the show behind because the more you try to find the reasoning ...the more you will be confused.

The point of a serial is to provide entertainment and get people talking and that is what is happening here. The makers aren't providing a realistic potrayal of Muslims. But its frustrating when someone potrays a religion wrongly. Its like making thousands following a show think rightly of those things. Which in reality aren't!!

You are right

It is really frustrating to watch this. I mean if you want a story about Muslim woman you should try harder and show the religious part right.

When they show the Imam in the engagement I was like

What he is doing why he is there? He even asked for ring exchange and it is not Islamic at all

Actually religious Muslims don't wear wedding rings at all

Actually I was quite impressed by the CVs when they showed Zoya going to the Church because of the little details being kept in mind. I mean she was born and brought up in a hill station and all hill stations are famous for their Christian schools. Even I am not born in a Christian family but since I went to a Roman Catholic school I pray to the Virgin Mary because that is what we are taught right from our childhood I mean they never encourage us to forego the religious beliefs we are born in but we are also told about another religion.

But it is forbidden in Islam to go to church and pray there to Jesus.
