I guess in that movie everyone liked him as all the three personalities. Also the current track is a direct lift from it. He had a website in anniyan where people could post complaints . here everyone mail kanya. But the difference is he posted all the three complaints himself as Ambi. Later he became anniyan and killed them. Gosh that movie was mindblowing with a great storyline. I don't think anyone made a movie like that before.

it is a movie about Irresponsible Indians that we see in our everyday life. If you have seen Dombivilli fast you will understand by what I am talking.

Here lives a young shy lawyer who comes from a middle class family and always talks about rules. he is a very obidient Indian citizen and very good charactered that every mother wants their daughter to get married to. people think he is too theoretical because rules never work in his real life. On the other hand he loves this girl who is his neighbour but she finds him irritating and not of her type since she prefers a mordern guy with bike and stuff.

So this lawyer feels very disgusted and helpless about of the things that happen around him. so he keeps changing personality without his knowledge.

1). he becomes Anniyan to remove the evils in the society and he kills irresponsible Indians brutally. And he also leaves his symbol at the crime scene.

2). He becomes Remo to woo this girl and she falls for him as well because of his style and attitude. Honestly he looks soooo HOT as Remo

He tries to kill her once as anniyan because she tells him that she bribed the govt officer for a land. His acting was soo good when he was changing his personality. So the first person to identify this defect is his girlfriend and she takes him to the doctor who certifies that he is diagonized with multiple personality disorder.

Later in thhe end the cops find out, arrest him cure him and release him on bail. They get married and go on their honeymoon. In the train they see this guy who drinks in the compartment and his wife feels disgusted. But since he is cured he ignores it and does not say anything. Later when he goes to the washroom he becomes anniyan and kills him. So he is actually not cured completely. It is a great movie. Try watching it as Aparichit.

nothing can replace anniyan...the movie rocked....well those who din watch the movie can watch the hindi version aparichith...but i think that the tamil version was beter

i watched that movie again last night becasue of this discussion. Gosh you can watch it many times and you never get bored.

what you said is right, but i was more going along the lines of ekta. she has produced sooo many soaps that it's kinda hard for her to come up with original topics and scripts.

besides, ekta's not the only one doing copying. bollywood copies from hollywood lots of times. it's the touches the directors, sets, actors, script add to the movie that make it "new" or "fresh".

yeah but none of her shows r original. she herslf agreed tht she copies from karan johar.
anyway this serial is a takeoff of kya hoga nimmo ka. the shat tai character is same as in tht. if u have doubts look at kya hoga nimmo ka from archives.
