Never heard of Utrecht. Just looked it up and it's in the Netherlands. I wonder why they chose that. Maybe they just picked a location where she could disappear and do her own thing.

In the US, most people get liberal arts degrees because they give a well rounded education - a little bit of everything: science, math, humanities. It's hard to get a job just with that because there's no practical training for anything. Those people go on to specialize later with their Masters or Doctorate degrees. For example, you get a liberal arts degree and then go to medical school and become a doctor or law school and become a lawyer or get an MBA and go into business. It's like a starting off point and further degrees will be used for career purposes.

A lot of rich people get a liberal arts degree and just stop at that point. It makes them look smart, be able to talk about many subjects, and have an educated appeal. If they don't need to worry about getting a job, then it's a good education.
