Was Deepika just an ornament in SLB films?

😆 Deepika is lazy these days sitting at home.
Do you feel she was just an ornament in her SLB films?
She was stiff as Padmavati. A horrible Mastani.

Unpopular opinion but she was my favourite part about Padmaavat. The movie was so boring I needed a break and I don't think I could have finished if not for her She didn't have much to work with but she owned being a queen. She had that royal aura and screen presence.

Same with Mastani. I bought her as a princess. And the writing was bad but somehow I was sympathising with the second wife which is rare 😆 And I credit her for making me care. Though Ranveer was my favourite in this.

So for me the answer is no to just being decoration because otherwise I wouldn't care. It may not have been her best performances in her career but she made an impact as opposed to Love Aaj Kal where I didn't care for her character.

she deserves a break? she is the number 1 actress and has earned her success and work she can be proud off. actresses and actors are not robots..gosh. I don think these newbies can beat her aura. she has nothing to worry about

She was a show piece in Padmavaat for sure 😳

She was good in Ram Leela...fell flat in BM n Padmaavat.
