Chakor wants to call Suraj to warn him but Abhay stops her, he says Naina will get suspicious. Chakor tells him that she'll go with Vivaan to Lucknow to help Suraj if he needs her.
Suraj and Naina arrive at the party, all her friends know about him. Suraj tries to call Chakor but she's unreachable. He finds the bar and drinks a glass, Naina sees him and he pretends it was a mistake. Naina is ok with casual drinking as her father drinks but doesn't get drunk. She stops him from taking a 3rd glass.
Suraj says he's nervous because he has something to tell her, she keeps her fingers crossed but he's unable to, instead he gives her a gift, it's a dress for the party.
In between they show scenes of worried Chakor and angry colonel on their way to the party. The colonel arrives earlier because Chakor is delayed at the police checkpoint.
Suraj and Naina dance on their favorite song, just before he proposes the colonel arrives. Naina hides Suraj because she knows her father will be angry. The colonel greets Naina's friends and acts friendly he attends the cake cutting and afterwards wants to take Naina and leave.
By this time Chakor and Vivaan have sneaked in the party, just when Chakor finds where Suraj is hiding, Geeta the birthday girl notices Chakor and realizes she's a stranger. Vivaan hides and the colonel approaches Chakor and asks her who she is, she's hiding her face. Suraj calls Naina and comes out of hiding. The colonel recognizes Suraj and calls his name.
