He's not a good actor. He can't emote and he doesn't suit many roles because he looks a model even when he's into the skin of the character.

He's also far too good looking to play an average Indian boy. Yes, good looks can be a curse at times.

If it is about Overacting and Underplay , Overacting always wins , My Sid is not at all bad , at least he does not jumps around like a monkey . I liked dignified people

my friend...acting on the general has never really taken seriously..jo bikhta hai wahi HIT hai bas...

sid has a market...it doesn't matter if he can act or not..

kya DEEPIKA PADUKONE ko acting aati hai..i saw PIKU n i went to sleep so much fuss was over her acting skills...look at her padmaavat..not even a single expression on the face...buhh

but look at her success.its the fame wealth n popularity ppl run towards..not towards acting..nahi aaj khans zameen par hote aur real stars top par..

so just chill..

but YES at the moment..SID's career is indeed in bad phase thanks to his stupidity of becoming an action star..giving flops after flops..so here he needs to give a HIT

He does nothing on screen- no expressions, no dialogue delivery, no body language- all blank. I fondont even find him good looking.

I liked him in Ittefaq, HTP, SOTY and A Gentleman. I like a nice looking boy. It helps that he is a total antithetic to VD.

Sid reminds me of Imran khan. Just one expression, monotonous dialogue delivery & he can't emote.

I really liked him initially for his good looks but now I am bored.

Problem is most people like Monkey's and OTT acting 😆 It is what made Anushka and Parineei stars😆

Watch his confrontation scene with Ratna pathak shah in K&S😆 a film which had some top notch performances & Sid emerged as someone making the least impact in the big ensemble

Or watch that Zaroorat song in Ek Villain he is pretty much laughable in the angsty scene to put it politely😆 but his bigger problems are his stiffness, inability to shed inhibitions & lack of screen presence
