I loved Alexander's deliberate languor and teasing gaze, the close up of his eyes, and the condescending patience with which he speaks to his snippish inamorata.

But that was all. Ek haath se taali nahin bajti, and if Alexander is left to do double duty, their so-called romantic scenes will flat as flat as a pappad. She has neither a smouldering fire in her nor open aggressiveness, both of which could be interesting. She is merely peevish and sullen, and she continues to resemble nothing so much as a wax doll.
