He closes his eyes and sees her bleeding foot that got trapped in the jungle... He remembers HIM leading her to that jungle...
He remembers she being slapped,her hair being pulled right in front of his eyes..
He does not feel the tear that falls from his eyes as he remembers her tears and pain and how he was unable to help her!
His treacherous body is shouting in pain while he watches her like a hawk,to find out how she is feeling! Is she alright?
And he SEES her ...sees her giving him fake assurances to make him feel better, to assuage him of his guilt...
She tries to hide everything but he can see!
He can clearly see the pain in her fake smile, the unshed tears,the grief in her laughter...she tries to keep her mask, but he reads her eyes...and she can't hide from him anymore!
He tells her he is sorry, regretful of all the bad things befallen on her because of him!
And she assures him it was her decision too...she being an adult,takes full responsibility!!
And without knowing,she relieves him of the burden that was threatening to engulf him!
She says she cannot heal herself! He gapes at this beautiful,strong,sensitive,brave,Silly woman! She fends off a tiger,but says she can't cure her pain! Ha! He tells her she is strong..sensitive,yes,but not weak..
She can do anything she wants..Afterall she is the one who is curing a broken,bitter,anguished heart of his!!

She is trying to forget the past few hours..but all she sees is him...how they beat him...tying his hands and surrounding him like the cowards they were..she shivers at the memory of them pushing him and banging his head against the jail bar! How his forehead split open and he almost fainted...She remembers how they tortured him but she couldn't help him in any way!
she knows he is looking at her to check if she is fine! She cannot let him see her hurting...he already is in so much pain, she cannot add to it!
So she dawns a mask and smiles at him...trying to make him see she is fine!
He apologizes to her for putting her in this state and she ends up smiling for real this time..she is an adult and can take her own decisions,she tells him...she thinks to assuage his guilt coz in reality,it was he who had saved her! "Mera jo hona hai,ho..tum to,ghar pe hoti" he says??
what would have she done but not run away with him? It was better to be in the jungle with him than to be alone safe at home..It was the best decision and he had showed her the path!if she could,she would do the same again..take the path he shows...
Despite her trying to hide,he understands her discomfort and asks...and when she says she can't pull her leg to heal it,he says the best thing that anyone has ever told her "tum nazuk ho,kamzor nahin"... She hears him say it and gets the courage to do it!!
His confidence in her does not just cure her leg,it heals her heart too!!
