Amitabh Bachchan corrects Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt's mistake in a hilarious tweet
The latest update is that Alia is learning a lot from the veteran actor while preparing for the film. Even she is not expecting to learn something, she is!
The upcoming Dharma Productions' venture Brahmastra is a first in many senses. It is a one of a kind, intended, fantasy franchise. It will be the first time we will see Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor working together in a film. It will also be the first time Ranbir will be working with Amitabh Bachchan. And it will also be the first time Alia would be working with Big B. What a fresh deal, this movie is! The latest update is that Alia is learning a lot from the veteran actor while preparing for the film. Even she is not expecting to learn something, she is!
What happened is that Alia took to Twitter to sing praises about her new co-star Amitabh, whom she fondly calls AB. She wrote, "Working with AB has been supreme greatness! Today @SrBachchan packed up an hour before the actual pack up but he stayed back on set just to give ques! I can't begin to explain the amount of things I am learning on set just by watching him!!!! [sic]. Ouch! Typo, Alia!
Amitabh was humbled by the tweet but he was also quick to spot a mistake there. He responded, by calling Alia the best, and added, "its cues' not ques' He followed up the correction with a lot of emoji, probably to not sound rude! Who would not want to have a mentor like Big B?
Yo .. Alia , you are the best .. thank you for the generosity .. and .. err .. its 'cues' not 'ques' .. .. you are just tooo cute !!
Alia also explained why she calls the veteran actor AB. "Yes yes I call him AB cause that's the term of endearment we've all agreed to Thank you for being so wonderful sir!!! Can't wait to get back onto set with you, Ayan and Ranbir for some more Brahmastra madness! [sic], she tweeted.

@SrBachchan
Amitabh has earlier written in his blog that he feels like a misfit on the sets of this film. "It is a bit awkward for me to be in the midst of this production where the average age on set is about 26 and I am the largest misfit at 76. I mean this is ridiculous 76 ! [sic] he wrote.
Brahmastra is a trilogy. The first part will release on Independence Day, 2019. The project is to be directed by Ayan Mukerji, known for Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
