Salman recommended Katrina Kaif for 'Veere Di Shaadi'?

We've told you before that Katrina Kaif's role in Veere Di Shaadi was first offered to Katrina Kaif. According to a source, "It was Salman who recommended Katrina for the film.

He shares an excellent relation with Anil Kapoor, as they've been colleagues for decades. Also, during Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sonam and he became friends. So when Salman suggested that Sonam and Rhea have a talk with Katrina for the film, and they did."

Ever since Katrina and Ranbir broke up, Salman has been helping Katrina focus on her career, says a source, "He has got Katrina on board for the film with Rajkumar Santoshi as well. It was he who recommended her name there as well."

However, Katrina has to opt out of VDS because the makers felt she wasn't getting the Delhi accent right and wanted to dub her voice. She wasn't comfortable with that, and they parted ways.

It could have been my Kat instead of Bebo. I want her in her own female-centric movie

Wow...I'm so shocked. Look, Katrina was offered for the role. Let's forget she has three films coming up. Let's all remember she was offered a role in a movie that JUST CAME OUT. 👏

Of all the things you decided to say for your very first post, you decided to complain how Katrina didn't get the chance to do a movie. And btw, enough with the "female-centric" movie. There have been plenty of movies where she had a strong role as her characters, and there was no need for a "female-centric" movie for it.

Completely False. Rhea said She didn't wanted to make VDW without Kareena. Kareena was always the first choice for Kalindi

No both kat n Anu were offered the role ..
OT sallu dint recommend kat she was dating ranbir when she was offered this role n there were lots of articles...kareena was the third choice bt after signing her rhea dint want to replace her!

veere di wedding is what everyone is talking about. I remember she was offered this role and considered doing it. I was happy but she pulled out.

I want Kat in more movies like this. She was awesome in meere brother ki dulhan, humko deewana dar gaye and namaste london.

I want Kat to have her female centric just like Shraddha, Alia, Anushka, Priyanka, Sonam, Deepika, Kareena and many others. She can pull it off if she wants. All she needs is the right script.
