It is true. Actually they wanted Alisters for all the four roles. If you see Katrina/Anushka/Sonam and Kareena would look like they are of the same age group. Now Kareena looks much older than the other three especially Shilpa.

Katrina was indeed offered the role first alongside with Anushka and Huma Qureshi. Those two were associated with the movie even before it was named Veere Di Shaadi back in 2015.

Swara, Kareena and Shikha came on bord later. The movie was supposed to be filmed post Neerja but Kareena got pregnant and thus the team chose to wait for her. They believed in each other and this was a good move as it strengthened the trust they shared.

Glad Katrina wasn't in the film..she always gets A list projects with her limited talent and wooden acting. Now that Alia is eyeing Rabir..she's moved onto Jhanvi feeding her cake all over Insta and hitting the gym with her. She literally glues herself to anyone who is popular or can give her that extra limelight.
