My view is, iPhone is made in US. Maybe a lot of people think iPhone is made in China right?

In an interview with MSNBC, Tim Cook, Apple company's CEO, once again talked about the topic above, arguing that companies should take responsibility for privacy, and that users should be more vigilant about their own privacy.

In addition, Cook also talked about the issue of the iPhone's production, which might be considered not made in the US. However, the truth is it's definitely made in Texas. For example, the glasses installed on iPhone comes from Kentucky, and microchips are from several states in US as well. Also, the equipment used in manufacturing is also widespread in US, and the delicate Face ID module on the iPhone X will also be made in the United States.

Cook said, many users have a misconception that the products are made in the place where the products are finally assembled. However, this is obviously not true. In a globalized world, a popular product can be produced under the cooperations of many different countries and regions. And then, finally, these products are going to transferred to various markets around the world. That's how the global system works.

Finally, Cook also talked about the issue of "Apple was forced to build factories in US by President Trump. Cook emphasized that, people should not see the establishment of factories as Apple being forced by Trump, since from the point of apple's own development, the issue also help to create more employment opportunities in the US. They don't need any political pressure to achieve the goal mentioned above, because Apple has already been doing it. (recommend FuninUSA for more news about Apple and product review)
