Now that Alia, Sonam and Kareena have beaten Deepika's Piku by a distance is this an attempt to push in DP's SLB films to make her look good?

Who decides face value? Do Sonakshi, Shraddha or Parineeti have face value? Does Sonam?

Why not eliminate directors as well? Befikre for instance had a big name director 😛

Alternate hits is a term coined by BOI.

A film which doesn't fit into normal genres..romance,action,masala etc.

The actresses you mentioned have given 200 cr films including Pari (GM returns)..Any one who has been paired with a few A listers can be called as someone having face value.

TWMR released 2 weeks after Piku and eclipsed it.Earlier Bebo,PC and Vidya too had given bigger openings.

I think Deepika fans have been appreciative of the efforts by the actresses.Deepika hasn't signed a film yet.Padmavati is the first film to challenge the Khans at the BO.That is enough for now...What she does next will reflect in what the film did for her.

Raazi and VDW gives her an edge while negotiating the budget of her next film.

I think it is great.

On the other hand I want BOI trying to push their agenda using young male stars-see them write long long essays😆

I think Varun Dhawan did, it's not was easy to give hits with new actressses. In the 90's, even Khans, Akshay and Ajay gave hit movies with mostly popular aactresses like Madhuri, Kajol, Juhi, Karishma, Ravenna, Manisha, etc.

Varun - Badlapur, even art film October did decent. But people don't take it into credit.

People should know VDW's opening isn't just due to star power. Thanks for pulling of PKP/SKTKS type of film. Here the girls were bigger names than everyone in SKTKS. Tareefan also deserves some credit

If Varun and Tiger or Ranveer and Ranbir came in a film together. It'd certainly have more than double opening of what VKW had.

People starts questioning male star powers after one odd woman lead film opens well. Otherwise with Arjun and High Heels - Bebo had 6cr opening with Ki n Ka or Sonam with small male stars had 3cr opening in DKD

Your hypocrisy is evident here as with all the male trade analysts trying to push their agenda of showing how only the male audience matters. On one hand you give credit for Badlapur's opening to Varun and yet give credit for opening of VDW to Tareefan. Even BOI credited Badlapur's opening to its songs rather than Varun. Strip away all the additional touch ups Varun gets in every film he lands up with a poor opening like October which was half of Alia's opening for Raazi.

Lets talk about you since I cant speak for other DP fans. You want all that for Deepika and Deepika alone. You even credited Deepika for TWMR's success. Now its great to laugh at your attempts to find the silver lining.🤣

Padmavaat was great 3 months ago. But its been eclipsed and Deepika gets nothing out of it.

But yes I am with you on laughing at BOI and other trade analysts backed by male fans of male stars trying to push their agenda and keep the focus on only what male audiences want.
