Not watching any serials or shows. I'm watching only movies on amazon prime. And doing my favourite things 😳.

Watching NK post 15 year leap on hotstar

I am trying to watch Kaleerein on Zee. What I liked about NK other than the excellent characterisation of Neil, Avni, Neelama, Ayesha and Prakash was the basic concept. Understanding what life is like for an illegitimate child in India and also the illegitimate relationship between Ayesha and Ashish (though that didn't catch on).
What attracted me to Kaleerein is that the basic concept - the fact that as Indian girls everyone is always trying to change us. Whatever we achieve in life, sometimes doesn't matter, we are expected to be everything to everybody. The concept of this series is supposed to be the quest of a girl to see if she can find someone who will love her for what she is. If they do this well, it would be so cool. A simple concept but so relevant to our lives. I like a lot of the side characters in the series but the leads are NOT Aditi or Zain in terms of their acting. And also the editing, direction - all of it - is so bad!
So not doing so well in my quest for an alternative as of now.

I'm watching Nisha aur uski cousins and NK AvNeil scenes . I couldn't get myself to watch any other show .
