Naina's thought process:Taking the big guns out.

Naina knows sameer alot better than he knows himself, she knows how he reacts, knows what hurts him, and also knows to hit him where it actually hurts.

To get him to react she decided to hurt him where it hurts the most, his weakness, Herself.

She knows what she is doing guys, relax. To get him out of this, she triggered it right, so that something major happens to jolt him out. Nothing is working so, she decided to take the big guns out.

I agree, that there are other ways but the thing is, the target is always going to be her, as his strength and weakness lies in her.

He is in a zone guys, indifferent zone. Nothing is mattering to him, except protect naina at all costs. In his mind it means to be away, to not care. To establish this he has to be rude. He is doing it correct in his perspective. He is completely drowned and it's naina's job to get him out because nothing is reaching him.

And guys tell me, when did any guy give an straight forward answer to questions asked!! 🤣


PS: Guys, self respect, standing up for yourself, being confident, these terms and things have not been taught to girls at that time, that type of thought process is still considered being forward at 90's.

Please keep that in mind.

Even though frustrating to see all that, we just need to install this in our brain, lol. Repeating it like a mantra, for the sake of our own piece of mind.

I am eagerly waiting for what they talk in the bench..

As a girl i understand myself, why you didn't like how she was portrayed in that scene, but it was neccessary for naina to get her love at any cost.

Self-respect mattered little for her at that time because for her, sameer is at stake, HER LiFE is at stake.

Self respect, confidence, all these terms came later in 90's, it mattered little for someone who thinks her whole life and dreams are crashing and there seems to be only one life boat and she needs to sail it, at whatever cost.

Because at that era, thats how girls have been brought up.

It's really the truth ,sometimes love make u blind and would do all those things which even be wrong .

I hope they both now realized their mistakes and make their love strong not weak .

Everything is fair in love and war, i thing that's what keeps her going forward. Teenagers, we can't say how the brain works, but she has so much faith in her love. That's what made us fall in love with naina. Ofcourse she has role model in the form of chacha and chachi, someone to tell what's right from wrong. And guide her through. So, thats why the strong conviction to get through sameer by whatever means. For her love is sameer, she made him her life. He is not a simple part, he is the whole life.

And our sameer doesn't have that, so he thinks what he is doing is best. He lacked major guidance in his life, after coming to ahmedabad Nanu was there to guide, but now with him gone, no guidance, no proper love and emotional support after dadi's manhoos thing. He took matters in his own hands. I just feel if he has even one person like nanu, it would've been great.

I think she did that only because she was dead sure Sameer won't let it happen. And aaj ke episode me even if he does cover up his concern for her, Naina knows why he shouted. Similar to the scenario a while back when Naina is being denigrated by that Dimple, she saw Sameer get furious n rise up to give it back to them. He realized what he did n then sat back down too. He loves Naina just a bit too much, n she loves Sameer a tad bit too much. And this is exactly what makes them work!

Yes, she is sure of his love for her, thats the reason she is risking everything. He will sure cover up his outburst, that's what he does. And she will again try to instigate him and he will again try to be indifferent. But that's how it works for them as u said.

And that is why, we love their story, if differences come they are not giving up saying it's not working out, they are figuring out how to make it work. And that is why we love this story and their love.

I agree with most of all you guys are saying.. agreed the story is of that era- but the VOs keep it real keep it current.. not once she mentioned I should have given a thought at that moment about what I was doing to myself in love,but what can you say to an 18 yr old...she did say she didnt care if she had to walk on fire to get back his love.. bcoz he was is life.. but her life matters to her family too...and the VO could have just said - aaj mein soch ti hoon to shaayad I should not have done it that way maybe some other way.. or something...

This time we are living, we all have different choices, love is not something we make a point to believe in, we feel it comes and goes, and we all left the fairytale beliefs we had as a children.

But the 90's used to be a complete different time, as we have seen in the show, love is for a lifetime for them, it's like a life or death situation.

The uniqueness of the show is the love naina has for sameer right from the start, she never had ego, self respect, all she thought was how for his one smile she can do everything she has never done in life. All she has known is love for sameer, and she didn't even expect much from him.

So, for her all this doesn't matter, what matters is sameer. And for sameer she can go to any lengths.
That's what we had loved about naina, we fell in love with the love naina has for sameer.

So, lets just keep all the worries aside and enjoy their story. Because this is a fairytale, which we had stopped believing in for a long time.
