Vicky Kaushal on Raazi's success: We knew it would do well.

Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer Raazi is
performing well at the box office. Directed
by Meghna Gulzar, the film is loved by the
audience for its gripping story and the
amazing performances by all the actors.
After earning 7.53 crores on Day 1 of its
release, the film collections have continued
to rise with each passing day. Raazi earned
11. 30 crores on Saturday and 14.11 crores
on Sunday. On Monday, the film did have a
dip in business but it's decent enough
seeing the pattern of business on the first
working day of the week. It collected Rs
6.30 crore on Monday. In total, the movie
stands at 39.24
crore.
Vicky Kaushal, who celebrates his birthday
today is quite elated with the positive
response towards the film.
He told DNA, "Raazi has made my birthday
special and I want to thank the people who
have seen it and are showering us with so
much love."
About the film doing well at the box office,
he said, "We knew it would do well, magar
itna achha kar jayegi, we hadn't thought of.
When I read the script, I was blown away
and there was a beautiful feeling of
gratitude in my heart for these people who
live in anonymity to safeguard others. That,
for me, is a huge selfless act of bravery. So, I
said a silent thank you in my heart. And I'm
so happy to read the reviews and see
people sharing their feelings on social
media after watching the film. This is exactly
what we felt after reading the script and we
were able to translate that on screen. It's a
surreal feeling."
On working with Alia and Meghna, Vicky
Kaushal said, "I feel so blessed and happy to
have worked with both of them because
they are incredible women who inspire me
and others."
