I actually liked today's episode. It was refreshing to see Avni tell Neil off. In the last episode, I was disappointed that Neil shrugged off Avni's justifiable concern as "overreaction" and she didn't fight him further. Of course, mowgli was priority then so I'm not blaming her. But if I were near Neil, I'd have smacked him. Childcare is no joke, and Avni was right to be angry with him for not taking proper care.
But today, she told off Neil for how he had been treating her, and I was quite pleased. Neil should know he's being an ass, and should clean up his act soon.
I was happy to see Mitali being put in her place also. The audacity of the woman to suggest Avni shouldn't be bothered about her own child? Also, why should Avni move away? I think Mitali forgot who her fiance really was. Sometimes, I marvel at how successfully they butchered a character who had so much potential.
The Cafe scene irritated me, and has further cemented my belief that Neil is not ready to be a parent just yet. I cannot believe he forgot to pick up Mowgli from school, what a shitty dad. Seriously. I know the fandom loves Neil but right now he's unbearable. And Mitali's expressions! Is a man not allowed to talk about his child? God, both of them are just ridiculous, today.
Stressed! About the kidnapping. I know it'll end well, but really. Why so close to the end! Can't we have a few days of peace
