There were so many comments on why they can't all get the prize..so my post was just guessing around the issue.
And Gold/Silver or different name to tiered prizes is used in other countries.
Britain has OBE or CBE and other such names to make distinctions between prize tier.
France has Chevalier of this or that. Order of this or that.
