Recently, Deepika Padukone's magnifying appearance on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival has got us all talking for the right reasons.

Although, one such talk was that whether or not the actress has got her famous RK tattoo removed.

After Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's relationship ended, for quite some time Deepika Padukone had kept us in a flurry of confusion onto whether her RK tattoo, that was drawn on the backend of her nape, had been rubbed off, redesigned or removed surgically.

Well, the recent red carpet appearance at the Cannes Film Festival solidified the rumors that maybe the actress had got it surgically removed.

Here's the catch though, the tattoo still remains exactly where it had been. Only this time, it was well covered up with make-up. An insider reported that "It's there. It has just been covered with clever makeup. Deepika doesn't plan to remove the tattoo at all. It is likely to remain on her neck for keeps as a reminder of her past impulses.

There was some discussion among the Padukone family about removing the tattoo or altering it from Ranbir' to Ranveer'. But Deepika Padukone has shot down the idea, it stays now and forever. "Yeah, it's Ranveer Singh (in her life) now. But who knows about tomorrow? says a friend close to Deepika Padukone.

Well, that's the very best of a reply that we can get, for now! The tattoo stays and why not, her past is a part of her and she is as strong and beautiful because of that as well. Not to forget that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are on good terms with each other almost back to being best buddies out there?

Seriously she should just remove the tattoo or cover it up with some other design. It just doesn't look right coz Ranveer loves her alot and actually respects her unlike RK.

I heard tattoo removal is painful so it's better if she cover it up. Ofcourse it's her choice at the end of the day but if a guy loves and Respects her alot then she should just cover it up. What's the point of having RK's name still there? I don't understand😕 Maybe Ranveer is Ok with it but it just doesn't look right.

Hilarious 😆 everyone knew it was covered with makeup even her ankle tattoo was covered. So what is the point of making up this article?!
