Three major characters of MCU, Loki, Gamora and Vision died in Infinity War. Now they might or might not come back in the next part. If they come back, Marvel will not kill them again after resurrecting them for one movie(Though making Loki alive for the third time will definitely look stupid). If they don't come back, then Infinity War was the end game for them.
All the characters who disappeared in the end of Infinity War will come back(even if some of them permanently die in the end), because most of them are new characters, with future movies lined up. Marvel has already announced Guardians of the galaxy 3 and Spider-Man Homecoming sequel. So even if Gamora is permanently dead, the rest of the Guardians are coming back alive in Avengers 4. Black Panther too isn't going anywhere when his solo movie did such great business, Marvel will make a Sequel. Doctor Strange and Ant-man will also most likely have another solo movie.
But with Avengers 4, phase 3 of MCU will end, and a new set of Marvel superheroes will be introduced. Unfortunately, to make space for new characters, Marvel has to kill some of the old characters. And here alot of old Avengers come in danger. Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth contracts are supposed to end with Avengers 4. Robert Downey Jr contract is also up I guess, but it keeps on getting renewed so Marvel might just retire Iron Man and keep him as a supporting character. But Tony Stark is not a character which I can imagine getting retired. He retired once in Iron Man 3, but came back again in Age of Ultron. More chances of him having a tragic death than retiring.
Captain America has no social life or friends outside Avengers. His only job is to save the world. So marvel can't just simply retire him. There are 99% chances of him dying in the next movie.
Poor Thor has lost everything... his mom, dad, brother, girlfriend, kingdom and also his one eye and hair. There is nothing for him to lose now. Pretty easy for Marvel to kill him. But he has just got his new powers so it'll be such a waste to kill him off . He didn't even die even after taking all the energy from a star. So he might not die. Marvel can show his romance with Vakyrie. Thor's scenario is 50-50.
I think Hulk will survive. His character is still not explored much. Mark Ruffallo has one more movie left in his contract after Avengers 4. Marvel can still use Hulk as a good supporting character in future films, plus Hulk too can't die so easily so...
Black Widow is supposed to have a solo movie, though it's still not confirmed, and it can be a prequel too. Although her character is also not explored much.
Hawkeye is another interesting character, but he is not popular enough to have a solo film. Jeremy Renner also has one more movie left in his contract after Avengers 4. So he might appear in the Solo Black Widow movie(if it's made). But again, it can be a prequel. Black Widow and Hawkeye have 50-50 chances IMO.
Sebastian Stan has 5 more movies left in his contract after Avengers 4, so he's definitely not going to die.
Anthony Mackie(Falcon)'s contract will end with Avengers 4 movie. So he might die. But Marvel might make him the new Captain America after Steve's death. Bucky will not be the new Captain America, because he got a new name "White Wolf" in Infinity War.
War Machine has been there from the beginning, so he has more chances of dying. Plus, the character is not interesting or popular enough.
