Seriously though, the diary seems to be the protagonist of the show! Remember how they said in the promos? Now, it's like, "Yeh kahaani hai, Arjun aur Diary ki" 🤔

I too thought the same. Papa Hooda came for some other work and left. The diary was kept in the drawer by someone else before Papa Hooda came. The drawer was open that means the person saw him approaching and fled without closing it.

So basically, that person wants his/her own secret to not come out in the open that's why he/she tore the pages and kept the diary back in Arjun's room.

Even my guess is on Anjana only. This lady too looks mysterious to me.

Yes, my thoughts exactly ...it could also possibly be Sakshi ..maybe she ripped off the pages where pooja talks about confiding in sakshi about yash! ...what secret can anjana have in the dairy to be ripped off ..or perhaps anjana might even rip off the truth about sakshi so that adi is not hurt on knowing the same! .who knows! but i'm quite sure papa hooda was not the one to put it back!
