Ok, so I enjoyed aaj ka Lae Dooba sequence on Shivika more on a rewatch...first time I kinda got thrown off by all the jhaag and a bit of a Black hangover😆😆

As such, I have a few thoughts to blabber about, if you will so indulge me :P

I have to give props to the visualization behind this scene...both aesthetically and idea-wise...beyond just being a typical hit and miss of the leads sensing each other but not seeing each other...the element of the fake snow helped add more metaphoric meaning to the scene...it was all meant to symbolize how lost Shivika are without each other...even as they can sense each other's presence, they struggle with finding their way back to each other...blinded by misunderstandings, unable to truly see each other...but their hearts are still drawn to each other as they always have been...hence they gravitate towards each other, seeking each other...until that spell is broken at the last minute and Anika runs away...leaving a Shivaay baffled and searching for her yet again...this is their current situation, all depicted in this brief song sequence.

Their pinky fingers touched briefly to trigger off that sensor...the same pinky fingers that made an earnest promise that sadly neither of them were able to keep yet again...lol so there is that sense of something unfinished, still lingering...but somehow still so palpable.

Props to LM for some lovely aesthetics, lighting and direction...barring the distracting jhaag...lol I was feeling sorry for NM-SC...kaise apni aakhein kholne ki koshish kar rahe honge😆...

The lyrics worked really well today...props to them for a good song choice after ages..."Aisa kyun hota hai, tere jaane ke baad...lagta hai haathon mein reh gaye tere haath"...this is where Shivika are currently...even after being apart, they feel connected, linked to each other...and they always will...villains ka drama notwithstanding...lol

P.S. Billu ki tadi was fun today😆...and Anika looked gorgeous with her calm steady nature even in the face of pile on insults from Ramona and co.

This is one beautiful write up on this scene really beautifully put in words i was expecting this to be so lulzy but man now i am smiling like an idiot. These 2 have that quality to bring a smile

The presentation was so meaningful and managed to bring emotions the song really added to the sequence the lyrics are so apt

I was legit like ankhein kholi dekho plz and wanting for him to see or touch her face that moment where they almost are able to hold each other yet at that very moment the distraction happens ahh damn

They managed to spill their magic in this . This is what NM SC are capable of if they are given something. .. this looked like a very cloched hit n miss from promos and caps but in episode it was totally something else and they have elevated it from usual cliched trope

I loved the whole aisa kyon laga s/A hai the xonnection will always renain they will always be pulled towards each other no matter how much they keep denying caz they really are mesbt for each other and in a very different way *sigh*

Let me go rewatch again so i can blabber more and make some sense

Word on the YEARNING coming across so palpably...anyone watching that scene would be leaning forward in their seats ki will their hands meet, will their eyes open? lol so that's deffo a mark of a scene successfully executed :)

The contrived nature of this current mess notwithstanding, this was a beautiful scene worth appreciating :)

I actually didn't mind the IPL track that much today provided they dial down the Poo bani Parvati + Bua psychoticness...baaki I can jhelo even if it's Shivika saying dumb things to each other...lol

Oh wow, just realized something else...Shivaay's hand was the one more outstretched towards her, than hers was towards him...she's almost in a bit more of a defensive posture, her hand closer to her side, not really reaching out...he's the one reaching out more...again symbolic of the current situation...Anika is trying her best to avoid/hide...he's the one trying to seek her out

Yeah i noticed it too him almost reaching almost getting a hold her hardly reaching out kinda making peace with the whole disaster. Symbolic caz he has always been the one taking steps to fix their bond too in whatever way he can while she just makes peace and accepts the fate rather than fighting. One weakness of hers that she can be resiliant in all other matters but when it comes to the future of their relationship she just accepts as it comes with hardly any fight back while he goes all out for that😳 so yeah amazin job

I really liked dono ki aankhein dhundlana referring to the MU

And if you notice it was shivaay able to open his eyes atlast not her.

That the picture will get cleared for him first she will take her time

Oh and i loved the IB wali IPL kaafi fun tha tha ks to billu ki tadi...i was cheering for him so hard

True, he did manage to just about open his eyes in the end but phir bhi I think blurry hi tha vision...would be nice if the picture clears up for him first...she toh deffo seems set to take her time this time😆

I'm curious about who's idea it was to use the fake snow to blind them...HS ka ya LM ka...lol...it's an interesting idea for sure...dusre shows mein leads get baarish ya dust storms...with Shivika, we get fake snow waale JHAAG storms😆😆

Anika is a paradox when it comes to fighting for their relationship...she can fight upfront enemies I guess...but existential crises waale time she falls apart...anything that threatens the very existence of her relationship with Shivaay (as she perceives)...she can die for him without a thought...but she can't stay and fight with him for her rights...that's Anika😆

Liked the scene and the episode in general 😊 Whatever happened in last week's episodes happened, nothing can change that , sure they're going to spill more raita before starting to clean it all up 😆 But today was more of setting the stage up for their meeting, new characters don't bother me , even pooja is like maybe a combination of ragini and tanya 😆 Billu is extra handsome and tadibaaz today 😉 For Anika -working in an event management firm than her having her own firm was a realistic approach given the short time lapse/ jump , bad luck she got a terrible boss ramona, but she's dealing with it nicely!

I also liked today's epi overall...what's done is done...I don't see any point fixating on the fact that the mess happened...we can only see if/how they try to fix the mess aage...today the execution was good so worth appreciating :)

I have a bad vibe about Pooja and her excessively OTT vampgiri...itna toh Tanya and Rags ne bhi nahin kiya...but this Viraj I can live with...the way Billu out-tadied him today was fun😆

Ramona went full on horrible boss on Anika within seconds which felt a bit much...lol but I also liked how Anika handled it...hope they don't overload on Anika humiliation for TRPs...I did wonder if Billu saw how Ramona was talking to Anika, woh toh uski band bajaa deta😆😆

Also have to mention these lyrics they explain them so lerfectly it indeed is magic for her she feels everything will be better if he is there no matter how much she is denying it right now deep in her heartvshe knows shivaay sab theek kar dega. Jadoo indeed for her with all the things he does for her how he makes her feel better

Pooja is more trouble because of the fake chutki angle too, so she can be here for longer :(
