Can anybody explain me the meaning of flirting?

As much as I know n I can read from Google,

Flirting means behave as though sexually attracted to someone, but playfully rather than with serious intentions.

But since a week, it looks like I have a misconception, kindly enlighten me!😊

No offence, no sarcasm...genuine question!

Though I am not a big fan of current Neil Khanna, I will agree that I didn't feel that he has flirted with Mitali so far.

He has flirted with Avni, Sakshi in Goa and a little bit with Monica in jail. But I have not seen him flirting with Rhea, Juhi or Mitali.

I think his body language and eyes were more flirtatious than the actual words...but maybe that's not Neil it's actually Zain...remember in the IV with Aditi he said he uses his eyes to distract and etc... Ok at least Neil is not flirting with Mithali then...one redeemable point in hid character 😆

I agree he is not flirting with mitali but whatever he is doing I Don't Like.

Bottomline is that whatever he is doing with Mitali we are not liking it and that is why to express our disgust over it some of us are terming his behaviour as flirting😆

Thank God, I m not the only to refer the dictionary that I do😛

Even I m not a fan of current Neil Khanna, but this is again something that he is being unreasonably blamed for.

Had I questioned this explaining what he is actually doing with Mitali, I would have been again called Neil fan who justifies even the wrong thing that Neil does.

If I look at what Neil has been doing with Mitali these days, keeping aside my hatred for her character of 3rd angle, I find all those acts very friendly, something that even normal people like us do with our best friends.

We do apply cake on our friend's nose (That was an engagement cake, I m aware of that),

We do apologise to our friends if our kid misbehaves with them (Neil should have not shouted on Mowgli, I know that, that's a different topic),

We do promise to our friends to attend their award ceremony,

We do compensate somehow if we fail to keep our commitments.

(Don't even anybody come with a lecture on not comparing or mixing reel and real)

Ok, Neil might be doing all this as a fiance and not a friend. But where's flirting in all this? Where is the sexual desire or anything physical or romantic even? Either in actions or words or gestures? I do not even find anything in his eyes. That's how the playful n happy Neil has been. That's how Zain has always given the expressions during all the happy moments, be it with Avni, Rhea, Juhi, Sakshi, Mitali or even Shweta, Prakash, Bebe, Mowgli, Mishti...everybody. That's Zain, not Neil...as rightly said...that's how he plays with eyes. Maybe I m blind n deaf. Didn't want to bring this Avni vs Neil again, but considering the probable future scene, for now I'll ask as Avni danced with Ali many times, if dancing with ur friend is not flirting, then y going for lunch is? If he dances sensuously with Mitali, bash him with all ur might...not now!

The bottomline is...blame him only for what he is wrong at, don't assume things by urself n unreasonably bash him with wrong words for something that he has not even done so far. Saying the same thing that I have been saying since the day of engagement which is wrongly considered as my support to the wrongs of Neil!!!

Guys, I don't know why so many of you are saying that Neil is not flirting with Mitali. I just saw today's episode and is it just me that saw his blow a kiss to Mitali when he apologised to her. A kiss exactly the way he used to blow to Avni?

I don't know why writers of ITVs are so irritating. They expect us to forget that Avni used to tell Seisha that she loved her more than her own child - when we watch the court scenes. Similarly they will also expect us to forget all these scenes between Neil and Mitali when Neil gets back together with Avni, right?

I really wish I wasn't so into an ITV series that drives me so crazy!

Kya imagination hai yaar!!, just because he moved his lips in a sorry way (pout wala sorry) while saying I'm really really sorry, u made it into a blowed kiss!!!!! Ok I guess I should take a break from India forums, because everyone would imagine things without being sure and then come and write them and that will make people who rely on written updates imagine worse things etc etc
