Losing patience.

But I genuinely feel like the characters are acting COMPLETELY out of character. Not one of them is making sense. The normally smart Khannas are just behaving incredibly stupidly. And Avni. OH MY GOD, AVNI. Her post leap transformation is something that has made me distinctly uncomfortable. I don't think her transition to Neilanjana was believable, nor was it justifiable. I've dealt with trauma survivors. This is not how they react to situations. I could buy Avni uprooting her life and running away to Kashif. But her scared demeanor and not even ready to stand up for the children she had taken up responsibility for, is just too much.

Then the Mowgli incident. Honestly, Avni knows what it's like to be an orphan. And YET she chose to subject another child to that. For this, she lost all my respect.

And Neil, my God Neil. Post leap Neil is just an irritating character. He should be grateful the love of his life has walked back in, instead they're wasting time. If I loved someone deeply and they came back, I'd try to find out what happened and not simply react to situations. I honestly expected better. Both of them are, according to the show, in their 40s for God's sake! That leads to different temperament, different understanding of the world. What is this childish behaviour?

I'm ready for the misunderstandings to be cleared up, because at least the characters will start acting sensibly and not simply dancing to the whims of a bunch of creatives who have clearly given up.

Honestly since past Monday I'm not even watching the show anymore. I just look out for written updates. And I'm secretly grateful it's ending early. At least this way they can't completely ruin the good memories I had. Time hi nahi hai.

I remember reading somewhere that Mahesh Bhatt is no longer involved in executive decisions. Maybe that's why they're regressing so splendidly.
