@bold: THIS...this is such a crucial point that sadly many ppl don't understand...I really wonder why this basic essence of Shivaay's characterization is not understood...and how far he's evolved from his earlier positions on the topic of family...how that has expanded, matured over time...it's not about CHOOSING...or picking who's more important for him...since WAY back, he's been trying to protect EVERYONE he loves...THAT'S who he is...the ppl who want Shivaay to choose Anika over family don't even get Shivaay's basic characterization then...he's the kind to not choose but want to save ALL of them somehow...even now he's not choosing but trying to save all of them from Bua.

And that is what Anika generally understands about him too...that is what she loves about him too...his need to want to protect everyone...if ppl haven't understood this simple point after all this time toh kya bolein...lol I always say, keeping score in the Shivika relationship is a disservice to them and really undermines what they've built together.

Anyways, for the few of us here who love both of them and equally call out both their mistakes, this isn't about keeping score...this is about understanding the essence of their relationship and how it's evolved...it doesn't exist for petty score keeping...they've come SO far but some ppl insist on being stuck in the past...lol oh well.

I don't get it at all. And I fail to understand the expectation of wanting it to be like the old days. How can it ever be? That negates the whole journey and takes away all that is so special and hatke about Shivika. Of course having said that i'll still take whatever they throw at us as long as Shivika is front and centre because I am sure NM-SC will still keep us hooked and that anyday over the trauma that Rudy ki shaadi and nach baliye and the girl gang was. Anything to spare me that. But I am hoping that HS loves Shivika as much as us and she won't let all that growth come to naught and so far despite all the other flaws and lame things on the show Shivika have still managed to grow even amidst the most contrived of things. That has been the one constant and the one standout that still keeps me hooked and will continue to do so. I am keep my faith in that and hoping ke meri bahut badi chop na ho and mera pappu na bana de.

Prinku time it was more then media questioning her and their relationship that led shivaay to make a declaration it was when he saw her walking away he immediately spoke up. That's been a constant the fear of losing her is far bigger than anything else for him. Technically speaking the ML track that everyone loves wasn't that in a way testimony to how she is his person? I mean despite the haziness of where they stood in terms of a relationship that time he still confided in her together they came up with the plan? Again prinku time when pushed to the corner he did what was absolutely needed to be done atm. It's not just choice it's also what's more important. And anika gets him she understands him she stands with him. Unlike anyone else in his life she demands that she also stands with him beside him during a storm rather than be shielded. To people saying he takes her for granted he doesn't consider her feelings whar was the whole eye talk right before aryan saga about? Why was he feeling so guilty and later apologized profusely to her abd thanked her too. Progression these guys kade but sadly people refuse to look beyond the past. Tanya incident is what i think people keep going back too even incidents of the past without taking into account how far they have come. Or its like a certain type of scene is required come what may and only then progression would be accepted which ironically would happen at the expense of their progression anyway.

As for why Anika didn't wear it before with that outfit...lol guess it wasn't needed and maybe they just wanted to give it a different touch for these Anika torturing scenes...cuz she's previously been tortured a lot in that white outfit too...she fell into the daldal in Goa in that same outfit too, poor girl
