After handing over the proof to the police, I rushed back to Sirji and Navika. I asked Navika if she is alright and she assured me that since her Spiderman is next to her, she is more than alright. We all laughed and I felt really happy watching Sirji laughing with his Chavanni.
Bala thanked Sirji for helping him and saving his life. Sirji in return said, "
You have done a lot for me and if I am alive today, it is because of you. I won't just thank you though."
Just then a lawyer came. Sirji told the lawyer, "Aai's empire will be taken care by Bala, but all the illegal businesses will close down."
Everyone in Ganesh Chawl had surrounded the place. They hailed to Bala and addressed him as Bala Bhau.
Navika and I stood by the sidelines and watched the hungama. When everything subsided and everyone dispersed, we went to Sirji. Navika asked him, "Now the responsibilities you had here are over. At least now come back home!" I too pleaded with him to come back home and reminded him how his Jaan used to wait for him to come home. "She still waits for you, Sirji."
Navika's phone rang and she answered, "Ma is calling. Hi Ma." As she listened meghaji speaking, her happiness started leaving her face. After a minute the call got cut. Sirji asked "What happened, Nanhi?"
She replied "Ma called. She asked me to come back home soon. Before I could ask what's the matter she disconnected the call. Definitely Addu must have complained on me."
I felt maybe I knew why she called us back. I went aside and called Meghaji. She received my call and told me that NAM foundation is in great trouble.
I thought may be NAM foundation can bring back Mohan Bhatnagar. I went to him and said, "NAM foundation is in trouble, so Meghaji called us. Sirji, if you don't want to return for the family, at least think of those kids whom you provided shelter."
The news shook him and he said, "Beera, you are right I can't leave them. Do one thing. You guys go to Indore I will go to Bhopal. Your Ma should not know about me. So after 2 - 3 days you guys come to Bhopal. I will try to sort it out by then."
With that plan, we bid goodbye to Sirji and went to home.
Will these divided directions ever unite?
