Married actresses working post marriage is not a new phenomenon and some have succeeded too but even then nobody can deny a lot of thing changes.You are no longer that active, sought after actress after a point of time. it does effect even i its 10 %. but anushka, deepika sonam are least bothered about it
But
some things about this A list female actors are clear and evident
1. They are happy, satisfied with whatever they have got so far in their career. They dont care about the married tag. they give damn care. Very good.
2. Either ways they are not that much interested in hero action movies. If an Eid, Christmas release of an action packed film comes their way they will take it or if doesnt also they have no regrets
3. Wining Best actress at filmfare is no longer a cherished dream especially in recent years after how social media and the youth has been making fun of indian awards V/s oscars, the duplicity of indian awards show etc etc.Their Icon: Salman, akshay , biggest stars but minimal awards. Being part of the main film of the year, to be the best actress of the year all these were associated with an actress who is desirable and single. But many things have changed over years. They can follow the vidya balan path and yet win awards.
4. No desire to lobby for films by running at parties n networking.They have had enough. Of course they can call their director-producer friends for good roles and do discussion,But they are not desperate now to prove a point in the industry. They have already proved. They are not in the urvashi rautela, yami gautam, kriti sanon phase or even to say katrina kaif.
5. They will wait for their desirable work to come.
6. Spending time with life partner pleases them. work is important but they want to enjoy their life as a wife, do things that pleases them.Not 24/7 thinking about how to race ahead of the next heroine.
Like Madhuri, Kajol, Aishwarya, Rani mukherjee, Vidya Balan, Kareena Khan who are aiming for good scripts to be offered to them and are no longer dying to be called No.1 heroine by a film magazine or fighting to claim the box office queen status
similarly todays A list actress like Anushka, Sonam and Deepika have also made their mind and are over this period of claiming to be the no.1 star.
Deepika has already done it, Anushka did it when P.K released and still enjoys being called powerful young producer.
Sonam is satisfied for the best critics award for neerja and the appreciation she got from all quarters, and also auditioning for Hollywood.She is the biggest style diva of the country and also walks for cannes red carpet.
They are secure and have moved from the cliches.
I think they now dont care how industry and audience will react.Whether their movies will do great business like before or not. They want to live their lives and enjoy it to the fullest.
