Although the new writers of NK are doing a good job with the execution of the episodes, I don't think they have understood the characters of Avni and Neil and I don't expect them to understand them in such a short period of time. Many of us feel that the Neil and Avni we are seeing now are not the same people. Neil and Avni are fictional characters who are not inspired from any character and the writers are free to present them on screen in a way they want. They can make the characters do anything I mean anything under this earth.Like tomorrow the writers can make them murder someone or make them dance is a bar and we can't question them because a fictional character can do anything. Writers need not follow any fixed rules and regulations while presenting these characters on the screen.They have not signed any bond which states that Avni and Neil will behave in the way that viewers expect them to behave or behave in the same way that they earlier used to behave.
I think things will be easier for us to accept if we start seeing the current Avni and Neil as two new characters who have nothing to do with our old real AvNeil.
So for our own sanity we should be prepared to witness the worst forms of Avni and Neil. I am not sure if the writers will do justice to these characters in the upcoming episode but it will not hurt much if we don't keep expectations from these two fictional characters.
