Once I fall for an actor, I can watch any bullshit for the sake of their acting and chemistry, but to start with, I need some sensible story and strong characters. So for me, chemistry was never a reason to follow this show. Honestly, I didn't find their chemistry that appealing in the initial months, but it were the characters of this story that I liked.

I didn't follow Naamkaran since the first day of post-leap story. I knew that Avni is a strong female lead, but I couldn't trust it because these days many female leads are strong initially but they turn into the same bechari mahaan jagatmata Abla naaris the moment they fall in love😆 So I couldn't trust Avni either n hence she was not my reason to start watching this show though she was strong.

I have been a Fuze reader n they used to write many articles specially on Neil Khanna n how he is way different than the normal male leads n that was the trigger for me to start watching this show. There was his dialogue to Shweta after Avni was revealed to be illegitimate to the Khanna's like "aapne usko uss baat k liye kasurvaar thehraya jo baat uske baas mein he nahi thi aur aapke alfaaz, aapka bartaav jise aap control kar sakti thi, aapne nahi kiya...uski paidaish ko kasoor banakar aapne mujhe apni paidaish pe sharminda kiya hai" n Fuze wrote an elaborate article on this n it forced me watch this scene...n this 2 minutes scene was enough for me to be attracted to Neil Khanna n Mr Imam😳 He had the guts to speak the truth n stand by his wife, but even while doing that he was calm and didn't shout on his mother like an ill-mannered fool, he cared even for the random girls n spent entire night to save them from trafficking (even without knowing any backstory I could feel he didn't do that only as a police duty, but because he had those principles n he really cared). Right after watching this scene, I started watching right from the 1st episode and completed it in a week! Then I started liking Avni and AvNeil both. But honestly, I didn't like Avni after Dayawanti's arrest till the jail track, she was totally bahufied. But in Jail track she was the original badass again n how I loved her then...and Jail track n a few days before it was actually when I started liking Aditi as an actress, she was brilliant. Earlier I wouldn't like her much in the romantic or light hearted scenes, in actions n emotions she was always brilliant. I m so proud of her seeing her growth as an actress!👏

N gradually, I have grown to be AvNeil and AdiZa fan now😉 (Oh u got me nostalgic..how much I miss this Avni Ayesha and Neil Khanna...looks wise and character wise both😭)
