Look at Sonakshi, despite doing Lootera she is still in a bad position, she was not able to DELIVER commercially - and thats just as important - and that's why she is in the position that she is a today - almost a nobody. This is a business not a stage show. Even a Vidya Balan is limited...she can only do certain kinds of roles -does that take away from her success?

And even in his ZONE Varun hasn't had the success that Tiger has who consistently delivers huge opening numbers - even for his bad films.

I will give Varun credit for Badlapur I'll let you have that. Although I personally didn't find him entirely convincing. The tapori tone worked in his favour.

I am sure Tiger will try other cinema at some point, but until that point lets wait. If you consider failing at an offbeat film to be better than having a huge box office opening like 25 crores - then OKAY lol 😆

I believe varun gets away with way too much credit for his mediocre acting n BO success..

Having David dhawan for father and someone like kjo' s mentoring one would actually do wonders with the kinda opportunities and resources made available at his behest. And still he can't manage 100 cr on his own...needs someone like alia to give him boost. 🥱

Tiger is the real deal here. Without much fuss he gave humongous opening and even after that we don't see him bragging...He is yet to activate his PR to bask in all the glory.

Such humble guy. No wonder he is loved by masses.
