Why is IPL blamed for TRP fall?

I have been reading posts after posts and polls stating IPL as reason for TRP fall. Kindly notice, this is TRP for week 14 ie, till April 6th. IPL started on April 7th. IPL effect will be applicable only next week. Everyone needs to understand TRP data is released by BARC with a 1 week lag. Even next week IPL can't be fully blamed if other newly launched shows like kulfi & ishq subanallah perform better. But for week 14 IPL is not a reason, don't be misled.

I thought IPL already started and I read that somewhere so I quoted. But we are still in top 10. So why so much worrying? All the shows have come down. Big deal!!

P.S. Next week all shows at 9.pm slot will decrease.

I'm not saying kulfi and ishq subanallah are competing with Bepannah. I know they are in a different time slot. But they both are newly launched shows whose ratings are consistent for the past 3 weeks whereas Bepannah is on a constant fall.

Yes next week TRP of all shows will fall, not just 9pm shows. Bc IPL starts from 7pm, that we need to wait & watch.

But as of now in 3 weeks it's clear, Bepannah is not able to maintain attention of viewers which is worrying.
