Anika, Reborn *Gifs on Pg.8,9,10*

I can't even decide if my expectations for today were low or high but either which ways, they greatly exceeded my expectations...the way Anika walked into the house slowly, almost tentatively touching each item...the realization, the memories dawning on her...I'm so floored by how beautifully this slow, subtle build up was done...the way she was running her hands over each item...and Shivaay just watching her with so much emotion in his eyes...until finally she reaches that beautiful family picture and with trembling hands and in a trembling voice finally points out Chutki...then her father...and finally herself...SC was next level in this scene today...I just loved how non cliched it was...no instant breakdown or wailing...the shiver in Anika's voice, the build up of emotion as Shivaay enfolds her in a hug, soothing her through that first bit of emotional breakdown...the way she can't help but chant over and over..."yeh mera parivaar hai...mera ghar"...and Shivaay with a smile..."Yeh tumhara ghar hai"...what PERFECT usage of the "Abhi mujh mein kahin" song today as well...another shock, considering IB is usually terrible with appropriate song choice...lol

The way they moved on to the mixed emotions after that...even though her tears, a smile breaks out on Anika's face...the joy of discovering her home, her identity again...Shivaay repeating it for her again and again..."Tumhara ghar" so that it sinks in...a kind of joy and wonder in his voice too as if saying MERI Anika ka ghar...as if he's discovering her again alongside her...and then in the most endearing manner possible, she goes about showing her home to Shivaay...walking down that memory lane with him...narrating how she named Chaalumati, showing him the beds where her and Chutki slept with their arms around each other...man, how heartbreakingly touching was this bit, the way SC did that "arms enfolded" gesture just broke my heart for those two little girls...and ofcourse the beds had to have names too...lol CHAMCHAM and CHINTU...hahahah😆😆...it's so funny how a scene can make you both smile and be so heartbreaking also...they nailed that emotion today...also sweet was Anika remembering how she listened to old songs on the radio with her father...Shivaay encouraging her to remember a song...her picking "Ude jab jab zulfien teri", telling him he probably doesn't know this one but he surprises her by humming the tune...haha I was laughing cuz they like just danced on this song last month for some shaadi rasam, no? lol itni jaldi bhool gayi Anika :P

The way Anika then switches gears to wanting to see her family, her dad, her HERO...who interestingly enough cooked very well just like the husband she now has😆...man, were there any more dream boxes left to check today? I'm still in a daze that we got such a beautiful depiction of Anika's relationship with her father, her sister...as suspected, Anika's mom passed away while giving birth to Chutki and Anika was too young to remember her much...so her father was her entire world...until it all got suddenly taken away from her...

Again, the build up of Anika finally unraveling here...suddenly barely able to stand also, it's like the strength went out from her under feet and she just collapsed into Shivaay's lap where he gathered her to him soothingly...again, so beautifully done by NM-SC👏👏👏

The way he just circled her soothingly with his arms, pressing kisses to her forehead over and over again, cuddling her in, holding her together as she felt like she was splintering...telling her the news about her father so gently...words can't suffice for how well NM-SC did this bit together...so naturally, so poignantly...Anika's reaction...the question about why was there no other family to come and get them...why were they just abandoned on the steps of a mandir...and Shivaay silently guilt tripping, unable to tell her how her father was maligned...

Instead, choosing to give her another surprise...tadaa in the blink of an eye, Billu decorated the whole house...haha husband ho toh Billu jaisa...magician ekdum :P Jokes apart, very touching bit as he brings her the cake with her name on it..."Anika Vardhan Trivedi"...when she says she doesn't remember her b'day, the tells her a b'day is celebrated on the day a person is born...and today she has been reborn after finding her identity...the way he says, "Happy Birthday" and she kisses his hand...awww

Howww extra cute were the cake cutting bits, man...oh my poor heart can't take so much today...lol already the epi had SO many good scenes, and then we got to this point I was like, this too? HOW did we get so lucky? Why are we being spoilt like this now? lol the way he was like, "cake toh kaatna padega" and ofcourse Anika has to make a quip about how woh moti ho jaayegi...ROFL...the way he made the grand gesture of handing her the knife but she pulled him in for them to cut the cake together...itneee pyar se kaata...haha...and the way he put the icing on her nose...ROFL ok death by cuteness these two will be...the nautanki faces she was making first with grabbing him to put icing on him with her nose and then gesturing ki haan ok, lagaa lo aur icing cheek pe bhi...haha Billu's big grins as he indulged them both...adorable stuff...they even took selfies...lolll despite Bua watching with her DOORBEEN, this was an adorable bit😆😆

And then told Billu he should randomly remarry in 24 hours? hahahahaha Shivaay's reaction was hilarious...asking Bua if her tabiyat is ok that she is talking such crap.

Frankly the Shivika scenes were so tremendous today, I'm beyond caring how this latest round of blackmail goes...lol whether or not Billu manages to do a second shaadi, fake or whatever toh jab hoga tab dekhenge...it ain't the first time when someone has tried to blackmail Billu into producing another wife...lol let's see if he manages to outwit them this time.

The Bua is playing this pretty rashly I must say...lol she actually thinks telling Shivaay what she's capable of will scare him? haha ok let's see...I thought she'd try to get to Anika instead but so far she's targetting Shivaay...maybe she'll try to manipulate Anika later.

After all the tragedies she has been through, losing her mum, dad, baby sister and later Sahil's parents (that may or may not have loved her very much), she still chooses to fill everyone's lives with happiness and laughter. Truly, literal human sunshine, good choice of color from the wardrobe department ( for once, as I keep repeating) 😆

Shivaay, man. ❤️ From last year when he just listened to her narrate her past, not knowing what to say or how to console her to today, when Annika can completely just rely on Shivaay and open up to him with all the vulnerability in the world. For two guarded individuals that have come that far. 😭

Ps: I loved that selfie session, it's pretty realistic and normal. Reminded me that despite all that goes on in this show, they're still a regular couple.

SC & NM just frigging knocked it outta the park i am in aweee of both of them once again matlab kaise karte hain yeh dono itna range itna wide variety itna Bang on expressions

i was in tears the moment anika walked into the room with her trembling self and reality started hitting her and she slowly slowly realized what it actually was you could sense the shock a slight fear too as if she will collapse if it turns out not to be what she is thinking that slight plz God do not disappoint me wali baat in the way she slowly walked in went to the sofas felt them while looking the familiar surrounding. what touched me so much more was the way shivaay let her lead and how with every step of hers he took a step closer to her slowly as if to catch her if she cannot handle you know that silent pillar he was again with every step they were being the support the strength of each other & that was beautiful it was just so touching to me personally how he gave her the space she needed to absorb it then the way she came across the picture wow man it is so hard to type and not be emotional.

another thing that really touched me was the whole her telling him instead of him telling her that it is her house him waiting for her to come to the realization on her own without him saying look i found your house which could be not as genuine in the sense that can have doubts that you are told something. he let her come to it and confirm taht it was indeed her house her papa

man how good was SC in this part with ehr stammer her not able to finish the words as if just saying it loud will take this away from her again that agar ooncha bola toh yeh sapna toot na jaaye caz it was kinda surreal for her to come across all this all of a sudden besides her emotions were so darn strong in that moment not allowing her to talk and finish Ughhh *APPLAUSE* * bows to both of them for being the perfect foil to each other . him patiently waiting for her to say it and whispering behind her tumhare papa tumhari choti behan finishing her words to make her believe ke sapna nahi hai that it is indeed real and he believes every single thing & then the way he completely her name and that HUG ahhh the mixed emotions there. again FABULOUS job with yeh mera parivaar hai what again was so beautiful was the switch in between crying and smiling by SC you can see in caps too also the way he held her and him also mirroring ehr emotions in these bits it was so bittersweet for both of them . again i was so touched by how much into it shivaay was and how he felt that same surge of happiness as her for finding her home sach main inki khushiyan gham sab sanjhe hain. i don't think about other couple ever was able to depict emotions this deeply ever and this in sync and showed this kind of happiness and dukh for their partner ever Kuddos man

can i personally send them some awards to them? i want too

koi cherish ka adress do plzzz these 2 deserve so much more appreciation for what they are able to bring onscreen as a team. just for this i am ready to jhelo more NB sessions if it means we will eventually get this. i will be honest here i had almost given up on hope for finding anything like this ever again after the nonstop NB i knew we might get casual shivika here n there but they;ve again surprised me in a very pleasant way with this & i am not complaining

then she started going down the memory lane and recounting incidents from her childhood it was just so adorbs she finally remembered them not only that again the mixed bag of emotions they brought the childlike excitement in her while holding his hand that let me show you my house to getting all extremely emotional talking about chutki and her father being her hero and how much he cared for the lil girls to being the usual cutsie anika in mid of all this also not leaving a chance to be like arre aapko nahi pata hoga song to him taking it on his ego aise hi and proving ke nahi usko pata hai by humming gosh so freaking cuteee😳😳 again his excitement and interest to hear her talk about her bachpan was too touching to me . i am so happy with the whole uncle trivedi being a lot like shivaay awww makes sense why she fell for this twisted banda in first place and was touched by his human side. the fact that she decided to talk about all this before askign for her father also added such a realistic touch that she got carried away in excitement phir she remembered asking about her papa but by then she was too afraid ke ab pata nahi kya pata chale so he being an absolutle sweetheart holds her so gently akes her sit in his lap and ever so softly breaks it to her that unfortunately it is what it is and waits for her to calm down. doesn't say anything else except showering her with kisses and holding her as close & as tightly to him as possible and being her strength in that weak moment

it was such a nice moment but what made it so much more heartbreaking than the news was her innocent childlike question that ok fine our daddy passed away but how come nobody else came for us what wrong had we done taht we were dropped on mandir ki stairs laawaris kids . man that hit me hard in the feels not only me but also it hit him and his silent well all the mean rishtedaar if you had any probably did not wanted trouble *sigh * how cruel though but not unrealistic at all iss matlabparast zamane main and then he promises her about chutki well let's see billu am not going to react on this yet

coming to the celebration what a beautiful thought it was and i can't with how frigging adorable these 2 were in those moments . ek toh teh happy birthday was so darn touching i loved the way anika couldn't help with ehr thank yous and he couldn;t stop with her full name repeating it baar baar then the whole cake pe banter and the way she again pulled him to cut it . just notice how aaj she did not let go of his hand for even a sec when he is around she made him part of her celebration her khushi she wanted him to be part of ever sec of it while he on the other hand wanted her to bask in the glory to celebrate her moment he did take a lil back seat but she did not allow him too and that to me just was icing on the cake . the whole selfie part and icing on face was so cute i esp loved this expression too hhahah the way she grabbed his neck and almost put the cream on him i wish asal main laga deti and billu ki laughs * hai emre bache* what a perfect way to end it with selfies and i couldn't have been happier

one more thing mujhe papa ki bohat yaad aati hai was meant as her missing her parents yeah she figured things out in detail aaj ke uske papa kaun thay kya thay kaise thay but what she meant to me was her general missing the parents the parivaar so she was eager to meet him if possible now that she remembered so much detail. to me her papa ki bohat yaad aati hai was a general statement about missing that parental figure all her life which she did and we all know that

i had exactly same questions... These kind of glaring inconsistencies r really frustrating some times... Makes you think why do thy take us for granted...
