Am not mocking him here BI 😆
I know lot of celebs don't talk about what they do and SRK might be one of those.
But I really wish he uses his super stardom status to bring awareness to social causes ala Akki.
Look at the impact Akki is having. Look at DP. Am sure him being more vocal and open about it would be extremely helpful and impactful to the causes he associates himself with.

Did you miss the part abt SRK's organization for acid attack survivors? And yes, he has spoken abt this in interviews and even got a prestigious award for it at an international event.
Just because he doesnt have a hyperactive PR like some others, his humanitarian work is not pushed into people's faces 24/7

I asked you to google it because he does several things...He charity is not publicized a lot though...that is why people get to know about it when a major award like the Crystal award he recently got for the work he does for the acid attack victims. Also he is the only Indian to receive award for his charities from UNESCO...He has adopted villages in a state to provide them with electricity..He donates huge amounts of money for other charitable causes...he has opened a whole ward in a hospital for cancer patients or heart patients...I can't remember...He is a part of the Children's' wish network...Just because there are not too many articles on his charities doesn't mean he is not involved in doing charitable work.

Thanks BI.
I really didn't know about all the charity work that he was involved in. Thanks for all the information. It is so heartwarming to see these celebs do their bit to help those in need. And yes, since he doesn't publicize much and I really don't keep track of his interviews or his articles (other than the few times that I read something here on this forum), I wasn't aware about any of his charitable contributions. Actions speak louder than words though and I'm really really happy for everything he is doing. 👍🏼

This is so heartwarming. Thank you Akshay.

I hope other celebrities too learn from Akshay and use their celebrity status to bring awareness and help those in need.

DP is already doing her bit for mental health. Salman is doing his bit. Aamir, through SMJ, does his bit. What about SRK? Is he also associated with any cause? Not heard anything so far.

Aamir also works with the Paani Foundation that is started by Kiran Rao...
