In defense of Adi and Zoya ..
Just thought I'd make a post in defense of both Adi and Zo's behavior today.
In defense of Zo
-----------------------
I actually LOVED what Zo told Adi - she was actually being very understanding and her character profile of him was rather accurate ..of how he still has love in his heart ..and how he hides his pain under this mask of anger and hatred and how he refuses to share his pain ..I think she has sized him up really well!! Like I said earlier, Zo can read Adi like a book -
Yes, she does know that Adi is filled with hate because he thinks his wife cheated on him with Yash. While Adi is 100% sure about the EMA ..Zo still strongly believes in Yash and refuses to believe that he cheated so she still talks about him fondly and lives with his memories.
I see NOTHING wrong in her speaking her mind - as much as Adi is allowed to show disgust for Pooja - Zo is allowed to show whatever feelings she has for Yash in front of whoever the heck she wants so I see no reason for her to tread carefully around Adi - He is a nobody to her as of now!
In defense of Adi
----------------------
I think Adi is justified in his anger - He is 100% sure that his wife and Yash had a relationship of love. And his blood boils to hear Yash's name - all the more when he hears his name in an appreciated and revered manner. It makes him perhaps get angrier to realize that if Zo thinks so highly of Yash then Pooja is all the more to be blamed for carrying on a relation with him and that makes Adi feel less capable. Yes, there are still a vast majority of guys who feel insecure when it comes to relationships and all the more when they think their wife found someone who she thinks is better!! ..
Anyway this doesn't justify Adi's violent behavior - but I've known perfectly nice people to act rashly on impulse only to severely regret it later!! ..I don't think Adi's intention was to push Zo off ..he was sure of gripping her back ..but when she was sizing him up ..saying he was still soft hearted he wanted to show what a brute he had become ..and so acted like one ..I think it was more of an impulse than an meditated action. I would cut him some slack ..as the poor guy really has no outlet for his anger. I'm hoping though that after realizing that he was indirectly the cause of Zo's health condtion - he will realize his mistake and make it up and apologize and decide for himself that he shouldn't show his anger on her! ..
Many times people behave on impulse and after introspection they realize what terrible things they've said/done and resolve to make a change! I'd surely like to see that. I hope CVs show that Adi realizes his mistake and apologizes to Zo and in the future he has a control of himself!
