This is a one shot dedicated to AdiYa and it basically surroundeds Adi pushing her to accept the truth even she's hesitant to do so.
Zoya rushed to the washroom with a sudden urge to drench herself with as much water as she can. Zoya looks up and stares into her reflection, she can't help but notice how swollen her eyes have become due to her endless crying.
" Ashish probably doesn't know the entire truth! Who am I kidding! Yash could never hide such a thing from me for 1 year!! Zoya's voice cracked at the end. Zoya tried to reassure herself in regards to the truth but her hands started shaking and she knew she couldn't fake the optimism anymore. The office needed her and she started splashing water onto her face to hide any hint of grief written on her face. The door jolted and she found herself crushed between the door and Aditya.
" What are you doing here?! Zoya tried to scream but her tired voice couldn't project the slightest strain.
" You know this could be so much easier if you just accepted it like I have Aditya took his arm and rested it against the wall just above her head. He knew what this did to Zoya and he loved every second of it.
" Aditya I'm tired of your confusing statements. I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't have time for your tricks anymore. Zoya's sudden sharp tone received an eyebrow raise from Aditya.
" Oh she finally speaks back? This is interesting. Very interesting. Aditya's fingers made their way towards her hair.
" What are you doing?! Zoya abruptly slapped h hand from making contact with her hair. She felt a warmth growing in her stomach the more closer their proximity got.
" Zoya, Your husband Yash has cheated on you with my wife Pooja. This is nothing new. You have to accept this. The truth has been in your face several times and you're still choosing to turn a blind eye? I don't get you. Like seriously how can one be so foolish and blind? Aditya broke their close proximity and started raising his voice. Zoya remained silent. She looked at Aditya and immediately started bawling her eyes out. Zoya didn't have an ounce of strength left in her anymore and so she cried against Aditya's chest. Aditya stood shocked and unable to utter a single word in response to Zoya's breakdown. He took Zoya and engulfed her into his chest. His light blue shirt has now been soaked and he didn't give a single damn.
" Zoya I'm -"
" Aditya you're right. I'm foolish and stupid. What is wrong with me? Zoya's voice broke and she started mumbling words almost inaudible to Aditya's ears.
" Sshhh Zoya. Don't say anything more. At that moment Aditya forgot all that he had against Zoya, how much she irritated him, how annoying her naivety was to him. Zoya stayed sobbing and Aditya caressed her tresses. He could feel her heart palpitations increase with time and he wondered why that was but no one seemed to fidget or fight back the moment they were in. There was a certain peace and acceptance Zoya felt in those 5 minutes.
